  1. I have not tried rebooting, but I too have experienced coping something from one plan and trying to paste in another plan and it not working. I am not sure if it is a MAC issue, or a CA issue, or a DSH issue.
  2. Either make your stairs narrower or the stair opening wider.
  3. Here is a vid Rob might want to watch
  4. This is the solution. Almost painless...... easy peasy.
  5. Not that I remember. I thought there were some "shadow people" in the library.
  6. Where would I find people figures in library, thanks
  7. I concur, but that darn Alaskan Guy comes up with some pretty good stuff...... I had to give him another point.
  8. I always appreciate when someone points out a weakness in the program so we can make a more informed decision.
  9. How can I say this? This stuff is awesome. I have been asking for this for years. I thought the way to get it was to get POLYLINE LABELS. Well, I got the labels, but that was it. It was "That Alaskan Guy" who put this crap together to make my job so much easier. Things are getting so complicated now. We need area analysis of new areas, existing areas, lot areas, floor area ratios, coverage analysis, existing impervious areas, percentage of impervious areas, new impervious areas, percentage of new impervious areas, percentage of total impervious areas, percentage of my body fat before thanksgiving and percentage of my body fat after Thanksgiving......... you get the point....... Michael The Alaskan Son has figured out how to generate the macros that are needed. This stuff is almost as good as the MRLS, the Anno Sets and the new administration (The "Lynn Administration") . Thank You Michael.
  10. My thoughts exactly, I cannot seem to find the "ribbon" that Glenn is referring to. IOW, how do I set it up to see latest unread post at top of thread? It's always a chore to figure out how these new formats work best.
  11. They railings should be defined as "PANELS".
  12. What size do you want the text size to be for the 24x36 paper and what size do you want the text size for the 11x17 paper to be?
  13. Yes, put in a floor (defined as open to below) where you want the break in the balloon frame wall.....
  14. Okay, I should of known that.... I never never never use the FLOOR CAMERA, I never got in the habit of using the FLOOR CAMERA........ why would you ever use the FLOOR CAMERA? Do you find any advantage of using a FLOOR CAMERA vs a FLOOR OVERVIEW CAMERA? I think I get the same info from a FLOOR OVERVIEW CAMERA instead of using the FLOOR CAMERA. I think the main difference is with the FLOOR CAMERA is you do not get upper and lower floors whereas with the FLOOR OVERVIEW CAMERA, you will always get the floor the view was taken from and any floors below. I use the hot keys and I never set up a hot key for the FLOOR CAMERA so I never use it. Thanks for the question, it got me thinking.
  15. That is the way I do it every day, very few issues. However, for some reason you threw a kink it the methodology and now I am struggling to do what you would like to do...... and the problem with Glenn's method is that the top of the EXTENDED footing is level with the top of slab and of course I would like to control the top of the extended footing to say...... 12" below top of slab. I wish I could replicate Glenn's model.
  16. You are correct... however...... I was able to do it but it was not consistent behavior. So funny, the first time I tried it, it worked perfectly, but I have not been able to repeat the ease in which I did it the first time. I think I will wait for a vid from Glenn to find out his methodology and then I will tackle this again.
  17. Glenn, I could not repeat what you did. I am not sure if you built a foundation or not. Would you mind doing one more vid from the very beginning to show how you built the walls and then built footings? Thanks.
  18. I opened it again this morning and I still have gutter... weird....
  19. I see them, make sure SHOW LOWER FLOOR IN FLOOR OVERVIEW is checked.
  20. Nice job Glenn, I gave you a point, you method is better.
  21. Glenn, it was a overview, I grabbed the end and pulled it along the fascia. I was not exact, I did it down and dirty. I had thought about your reasoning. ( at least one edge does not get gutter). But for some reason the gutter stayed after opening and closing 4 times. I will try again tomorrow to see if I can get it to fail.
