Wall Label with %angle% macro ?
-
Yes that would be great Joe. Maybe a popup that gives the warning and then the option to ignore or take a suggested action. Automatic reduction of header depth is just wrong. Better that chief recognizes the error than the building inspector or framers.

Q: How do I get control over the macro-generated text on a roof plane?
Chopsaw replied to para-CAD's topic in General Q & A
Hello: Brown Tiger I have made good progress with your last example. The gable fascia and ridge vent work great. However I seem to be missing something in how to format the "OSB (layers[1].material_data )" to be able to retrieve and display the NVPubisher properties of description, formatted_size,quantity, etc. If you have a moment could you possibly write that example into your previously posted MacroLabel.txt example for us. Many Thanks, Chopsaw -
It could be a library update issue. I once had a folder that somehow got into my user library with all of my template file materials in it but never figured out how it got there. Maybe check with tech support if you don't get a good answer here.
-
Those are materials. You may have copied them to your user library or possibly you have set up some job files with commonly used materials. Every copy will show up when you search.
-
You can try to place it into a zip file and see if that gets it down to 25MB or smaller or you can upload a larger file to your cloud account and then post the link here.
-
The .plan file is what we would need.
-
I assume you need it on the face of the fire place wall and possibly the two wall returns ? Same brick material as in room behind ? As Joey just said post the plan and someone will take a look.
-
Copy the definition of the wall you need to change and create the new brick wall type.
-
Give this one a try and take a look at how it works using chiefs embedded macro's. Layout Callout.calibz
-
Are you placing that in Layout or Plan ? Usually it can be done with a callout, a couple of text boxes, and two or three macro's.
-
Rob we have been trying to get some improvements and automation to that system. But for now you can use a manual callout and some rich text or macro's to generate the look you need. I could be a lot easier though with some extra support.

I think it is a windows issue and it seems to come and go. Did you try cycling it ?
-
Hit the Maximize button at the top right beside the X and you are usually good to go.
-
No not as you describe but there are other way they can be organized. Your custom electrical items can show only when you are using the MEP (toolbar) Configuration and your custom cabinet items can show only when you use the Kitchen and Bath Design Configurtation (toolbar), Fixtures could be on on the Default (toolbar) Configuration or where ever you use them most or even duplicated on several different toolbar configurations and you can even add a custom toolbar configuration if you like. Another option is a floating toolbar. Custom Child toolbars are a feature request at this point as well as being able to customize and add to existing Parent Child toolbars.

No I don't believe there is a default for that. However you can click and drag out any size you need.

Elevation Camera Labels/Callouts show Sheet Number
Chopsaw replied to divreig's topic in General Q & A
Easiest way to access the Layout page Information is from the Project Browser and then right click menu to open. Post a few screen shots of your situation if that is not it and someone will help out. -
You should have a top rail option that can be edited.
-
You have a Sloping Gable Auto Roof Return on the Garage. Driven by the roof directives of the gable end wall.

Elevation Camera Labels/Callouts show Sheet Number
Chopsaw replied to divreig's topic in General Q & A
I have not heard of that being a problem. Maybe just make sure the sheet number is in the Label field of the Layout Page Information. -
Remember this one Mike ? It was a while ago but same situation now I think.
