  1. OK pony wall/railing w/cap only displays with the full camera or cross section elevation. Not with room camera nor wall elevation. (see attached) Now to try to fix the floor orientation. Rotate 90°. Thanks!
  2. Thanks for the very fast response. Changing ht off floor fixed the clipping. Will try a railing...
  3. OK I see that I had the ht off floor wrong. Changed to 0. But still not seeing the countertop. Or a way to add trim specifically to the top of this wall only.
  4. I would like to add a pony wall in a kitchen behind the peninsula cabinets. I would like to be able to specify the height typically 34½ to 46½ but it could be anything. Then I would cap it with wood trim or a bar top. I've tried creating a railing but that seems to be 42" and the cap is difficult to modify. The pony wall I create (see attached) is clipping the cabinet crown and valance even though ht is specified at 46½" and the added countertop does not show in the 3D or elev.. but shows in plan view. There must be a way to specify a wall by height. Thanks Mike X5
  5. Ooops! I had unchecked roof auto re-build That was too easy. Thanks. Re gable wall framing. Load is transferred to the two bearing walls by the rafters. The roof will stand by itself without the ends as long as there are tension members holding the walls perpendicular. The ply sheathing takes care of that here. As it is a pump house eliminating superfluous framing members will increase R value. M
  6. I'm designing a simple pump house 12x10. I created the drawing neglecting to reset my default ceiling ht of 108". Roof framing was generated correctly, see attached jpg. I want to reduce the two bearing walls to 93" which I set under Structure tab. This only changes the room ceiling height (which I unchecked so it doesn't show). I want the plate height on the two bearing walls supporting the rafters to be 93". How do I make the change? Mike X5 PS, the gable walls are framed as bearing walls. Any way to force non-bearing framing?
