My apology, turn Framing.Walls layer off.
-
Turn Wall,Framing off and the lines will go away. As thicker corners go, I'm not sure what you mean, I don't see it.

Thanks guys!!! I'm glad I could help.

I try to be when I can Thanks!
-
Thank you Joe!!! That worked Perfect.

Always a pleasure Mike, let me know if this will do, if not tomorrow morning I will make a few tweaks...
-
Mike I made you one, see if this will work. My wife was on my case to drive her someplace so I rushed a little and I noticed the drain was in the wrong place and there is a drop in the bowl... If you can wait until tomorrow I will make exact one for you since I already have the model, just have to tweak a few things. Here is this one for now. Mirabelle Undermount Sink.calibz

Joe is there a way to add height to this macro like 6/8 or you have to make a separate macro for that?
-
Perry, you gonna love it. I been using it for ages and nothing beats that especially when doing any type of 3d modeling,
-
You can also use Sketchup, you can use various style sheets which can transform the view, the lines pretty much to anything. If you need some style's I can zip them for you and you can see what will work best.

I thought it was only me Perry, I swear sometime I feel there is a ghost lurking behind the scene and he is being a pain in a ass LOL

Made this table for a project I was working on, if you think you can use it, welcome to it. It goes nice in the foyer area, or near the staircase, etc. Enjoy Foyer Table.calibz

You have to click on the cabinet door and select it. Picture one not selected and its all greyed out... picture 2 door selected and you can make all adjustments

It's Angle Snaps

I think in x8 you don't have to turn the ceiling off, it does that automatically (don't remember doing that in x7 as well). as soon as "open to bellow option is selected it removes the ceiling bellow, it works pretty much the same way as the stairway tool. Just have to make sure you use Full Camera so the interior shows the right way.

Hi Diane, I'm not sure what you mean, but when I open dollhouse view I can see the loft the railing and everything else as it should. I'm not sure what you seeing, if you can post a picture that would help. Thanks

Can you change how Chief calls the swing of a door?

This is our chart, back always to the hinge side. -
Thank you Glenn, you beat me to it... That was the issue, I never have Auto Rebuilt roofs on in the default settings. I usually do all the floors and roof would be the last thing to go in (as building a house) and this is why I never noticed that. Last night I was trying to do something and I had a split screen and when I added the floor I said WTF... LOL Thanks for looking into that!

What you mean "in a view other than plan?" Here is a short video, sorry about the quality used the wrong setting when rendering video.
-
Is that a bug? I was in perspective full overview and had the glass view on. I had the first floor with the roof. I went to build a new floor and you can see in glass full overview that it would only raise the ceiling and not add the second floor. If you undo, and select show roof on the floor above and you repeat the action >add second floor it will add the second floor no problem. Does X8 configured that way so in order to add another floor you must use the tool > display on floor above before you add second floor or its just a bug? Here is the picture and as you can see I have the second floor, everything is right but as you can see in full over view (glass view) it only raised the ceiling height. After I did undo and deleted 2nd floor and used the tool > display on floor above and added the second floor, it worked fine. In the 3d picture I added some windows on the second floor and It looks like if you don't select the roof and use the tool prior to >display on floor above the 2nd floor drops down and as you can see the windows remain on the second floor

Glen, the reason why you have that way is because you drive on the left side of the road. -

Scott, you're right that is how it should work when professionals are on the job. LOL and the door swing on the plan should be a suggestion only because doors always move if changes in the field take place, the swing has to change if electrician put his switch on the other side for whatever reason because it couldn't go where it should, etc....and you get an idiot who does the door and trim take-off from the plan will order the door with the wrong swing, some even being in the field don't know the difference between LH and RH swing, not to mention another moron will install it. You be surprised how many home or townhouse models I go through, just to see things, get some ideas, etc and you would have switches hidden behind the doors, especially in the basements and bathrooms, etc.
