  1. Here is all the files that came in the zip folder
  2. I guess, its just wierd, that texture is not in that zip file but it's inside the texture.calbz file, when that installed the texture is there.
  3. Hey Dave, I just downloaded the Zip and unzipped into a folder... Did you take the Carrara Marble Texture out? Because it's not there anymore and everything it seems to work good now. As trying to read the D drive, yes I think that's what it does, because before I downloaded another plan and when I got the texture box come up I had where that person who uploaded file was storing his texture which was c:/ username/ and where that file was stored/name.jpg so go figure whats going on in there
  4. Maybe there is something between Mack and Windows. Who knows...
  5. P.S I think that carara marble texture was corrupt, Before when I downloaded the plan I couldn't see textures displayed except Carrara Marble was showing on one countertop, same thing as Cheryl noted, when I deleted Carrara Marble from my library, and uploaded the plan again I could see all the textures on the countertops except Carrara Marble Texture. Strange but maybe there is something between Mac and windows.
  6. I had the same thing Michael had It seems its trying to read the texture from Daves drive which is D Also one of the textures it displays one image and the preview window has another image. Also if I click on the plan link on the blog page it opens directly into CA instead of the window with an option where I want to save the file, which is very odd.
  7. The way I would do it, is build walls in the attic and cut the roof around it. I did this quick, you just have to make some adjustments inside as the heights go. Dormer Plan fix.plan
  8. Ok. glad it worked out! I have a feeling this will be a problem with some of the symbols from a previous version when you move them to this version.
  9. Upload the symbol I'll try it here.
  10. Use a circle tool, draw a circle 10 1/16" radius where you want the pump. use convert polyLine tool and convert that circle to a <Hole in the floor platform> and drop your sump-pump into the hole. Adjust the hole up or down and use center tool to to center it over the hole so it looks like the picture.
  11. Thanks Joe, I knew it was someplace here, I just couldn't find it.
  12. I think what Graham is talking about is Joe's method. Joe had a video out I think of he might of even posted the walls for download, I was just looking for it but i couldn't find. It's basically a pony wall with top portion being glass and lower portion you can control half wall or curb. You save that in your library and you can do bathrooms all day long using any size any height any configuration and put your door any place you like.
  13. Harry, See what Lew got for you, if that's not enough I will pick up the $30 tab so Dave can send it to you. Lets call it a Happy New Year gift and I wish you luck with your wife. Leave me a PM and we will take care of that. Take care
  14. Sherry, Scott made a video on that a while back. Here Is The Link See if you find this helpful.
  15. You have to use full depth side panels which have a frame face of 1 1/2", 3" or 6" wide depends on the size you need and room you have to work with. Ref cabinet must have a min 36" clear opening under them, more if located near a wall. If you insert any panel under it you will never fit a ref unless you go for some undersized type. Also if you use a 3/4" panel you cannot attach your cabinet to it.
  16. I agree with Perry, that should be shown on the plan so it can be visually referenced. I'm sure for CA it would be an easy fix, all they have to do is set the doors code parameters for a pocket door to be 2 X door width + 1" and Door height + 4 1/2" and maybe in a plan view show the door's actual opening by using a dashed line. Sometimes you have a door, especially if you design your plans for contractors or even homeowners, and if they want to move a wall in the field, at least they can see the outline of the rough opening of that door. This is what I started doing when showing the door in a plan view, because on a few occasions the customers said let's move this wall, seeing there is some room left with a door being there, this way now they can see the exact opening. So IMO that is a very important feature.
  17. When you create pLine and you make your radius using Change Line to Arc Tool, click Convert Line to pLine Tool and set number of sides to 64 and and after that convert to molding pLine and you will have a nice smooth curve.
  18. I check everything out and change a few textures to Thea textures and its very easy to make adjustments to the model in sketchup if you see anything that needs adjutment
  19. I export the model from CA to Sketchup and use Thea renderer from there
  20. Post a plan would help to help you. Or pull another roof from that wall and join the roofs.
  21. Is that what tile guys do now days in reality, they move walls so they don't have to cut tiles?
  22. You don't need Inkscape, do a top view in sketchup, add one longest dimension so you have a gude and export as JPEG (it will look something like the picture #1 attached) and drop that image into Chief. Use point to point tool over that dimension in CA and do point to point over 70'8 and I have 31'11".( follow steps in image #2) Now when you trace over that dimension ( 70'8) your wall will be the same length. Now you can trace over that plan (image #3)
  23. You should have 1/2" space around it to meet the code and it should be wrapped so its not in direct contact with masonry if it makes any difference to show that or note that on your drawings.
  24. Glen thank you for the video! I got it... I totally missed that in Preferences, I looked in there over and over and I went right over that. Thanks fellas!!!
