CA really needs to fix the Compare Matrix it seems..... are you saying the Floor Tool works on Walls too ? never tried it , never had too since I have Premier and use the appropriate Tool.... M.

Not the VideoCard itself, you have a good one but the particular Driver may cause Issues ( ie the 388.xx Series) especially on Laptops as they usually use the Laptop version of the Driver, which is different than the Desktop Version Perry and I use. If you can't access the Label Tab in some DBX's that is another symptom of the Issue. Windows Update will normally ensure you havethe latest Drivers in Win10.... (390.77 is the latest) but that's not always a good thing as other have found out. The 390.xx series Drivers seem much better however.... I just went back to 382.05 Last night but haven't test PBR this morning etc yet. PS nice Sig. M. M.

I have the same issue sometimes and cropping in a Photo Editor is the easiest solution , though it may not be 4k ... but most don't use 4k for viewing Images anyway eg if sending to Clients, if you want full screen 4k for your Office or something that is different. M.

Did you try Clearing the Printer Info in CA and setting it up again ? is it only CA crashing , eg can you print in Word? sounds like it might be one for Tech Support but most likely the 1st thing to try is Clearing the Printer Info, this Tutorial has that Info in it : https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00085/troubleshooting-printing-issues.html

These days the Term are interchangeable but way back when, the Carriage was the 2x Structural part of the Staircase and the Stringer the 1x decorative Element above it . What was called the Stringer then, here at least, is call a (Stair) Kick which is basically the Staircase Baseboard. Maybe they have a Building Dept that requires the "Stringer" be labelled Carriage ? which maybe due to References in the Code that applies locally? ( I saw it mentioned on a Forum for Student Architect's too , noboby knew what the Carriage was) Oh beaten too it

Did you try Printing to PDF ? I don't have X7 on this Machine but a View Printed to PDF in X9 works..... I didn't send to Layout , maybe that is the difference? 17-203_Walker_Residence_II_X9_PDF.pdf

If you have a decent Videocard hardware edge smoothing can be on HIGH and texture compression OFF , TC is not normally needed for modern Videocards.

I was wondering if I should report this to the Beta Team actually , just not many have said anything , then again I don't know how many have downloaded the Files? I extracted my Calibz files and the textures are in there , so I am not sure why X10 isn't importing or perhaps registering them.

I just noticed on check your setting against mine , not sure about that but I am seeing alot of Black in PBR with 390.77 though I don't know if 390.77 is the Reason , I was going to try 382.05 again to compare since Drivers above that seem to have various Issues.

If you have SSA you can download the Beta from your Digital Locker , just don't do plans in it if you don't plan to upgrade as it will expire , usually a few Weeks after the Full Version is Released, and you won't be able to view or Work in the Plans any longer. If you get SSA now X10 will be "free" ($495) when released otherwise you will have to pay the Upgrade Fee.... M.

Never Tried it but maybe an Annotation Set where all Line Styles are White and sending to a Layout Page with a Blue Background ? if you need it to Scale etc , Otherwise you can change the Background in CA Plan View and Print the Current Screen. Perhaps use an Image of the blue from a "BluePrint" as a background ?
