So the Match Properties Tool (Multi Select) does not work ?

Thanks Perry , maybe this is an X10 Library Issue then if Chief needs a restart to find the Library Textures , I had that happen in Older Versions IIRC , but x9 was always pretty good refreshing itself. Mick.

Are you able to tell me what .jpg it/they are referencing ? I though when a Library was exported it pulled the Texture with it ? , in fact if Chief can't find the texture it will ask you to fix it before Exporting. If you Unzip the Cailz file with Winzip or &Zip is the Texture there? See the 1st Post for Pics of mine I added. If you right Click the the downloaded File and goto Properties , is it "Locked" Bottom RH Corner is a checkbox if so , on some Win10 systems depending on Security settings Files from the "Internet" are deemed a Security risk and you must Unlock them if you know them to be safe , before doing anything with them. I assume you checked you Preview Toggle Button? just making sure cos you are the only one who has reported an Issue.

it's the 1st Time I have seen it reported , but I don't think you "broke" it ...unless you can replicate the issue using the Make 2nd floor from 1st Floor Option... M.

I am pretty sure you just made a BLANK 2nd Floor , so when you made the 3rd etc it was also Blank ( since you drew no walls), as it was Copied from the blank floor below , I added one of my own and it was BLANK too , so I deleted everything except floor one and then added a Floor based on Floor One when it asked and all is well .

eCabinets has been recommended to me a few times though I am not sure if it integrates with Chief or not? it is free if you are in the Industry I believe. http://www.ecabinetsystems.com/

possibly the "floor" really is the "Room" ? what view are you in? not sure you can "select" the Floor itself as such... do you have this on? Also, it's good to have your Forum Signature filled in please, especially with the Software Version, and of course a Name is nice too ..............see mine below in Blue for how to do that. M.

only in X10 again ? did you try the new expanded Library I posted this morning for X10 , that texture is already in the 1st Post though....

Hi, I Exported from X9 so both X9 and X10 Users could Use the Library but I have now added a X10 Library in the 1st Post too as I can not reproduce your Issue, nor do I know why it would happen. Did you also download the Board and Batten Library ? does it have the same issue for you?

Hi , I am looking at notebooks as the Surface3 doesn't cut it anymore , here we seem to be limited to Eurocom or ReflexNotebooks to get Sager/Clevo...both come with heart stopping Prices when compared to the Market pricing in the US and tricks like NOT including Windows 10 in the advertised Price, only 1yr Warranty etc. plus we need to add Sales tax and GST = Ouch! or double the Price , the CDN$ isn't 2:1 yet as far as I know.... just shows there is no competition here http://www.eurocom.com http://www.reflexnotebook.ca this is similar to the one posted above http://www.reflexnotebook.ca/sager-notebooks/sage-type/sager-gaming/sager-np8156.html

So the Fix above does not work for you? it works here , I simply had Standard View Preview Off in the Library... I also have posted the Textures (in Blue) now so you can put them in your Data/Textures Folder and relink the Materials to the .jpg if needed. The Texture Folder is Migrated so it should Follow you Version to Version and never be lost again. It's possible it is related to my Use of my Own Materials Folder in the Data Folder and something is not linking but I assumed the Texture went with the Library when you Export it?. M.

Is the Architect not willing to do this? it would seem from the PDF that he already has 3D Renders available..... Looks like you have gotten well into the Plans, Level 1 had me confused at 1st , as when I selected the Plan it showed it was an Image ...but somehow there was 3D Views Took a minute to realize you had traced over the Image and left it in place... Looks like you need a partial 2nd Floor before the Roof ? or is that Dormer just a Light Well really for the Master Bedroom? Did the Architect not do a Roof Plan? I could look at it more if needed PM me if you would like too. M.

if you want the 17" model it is $1398 but also has the added 1TB hard Drive for extra Storage too.... Thanks Guys , let me know if it doesn't work , as mentioned it is not perfect around windows and Doors as Chief automatically has Doubles at openings but in Elevation or 3D Camera views they are easy to delete and move , just like Framing Members. And a Reminder to Build Framing AND Display it even in Overviews. ***Note I just update the 1st post with an expanded X10 library and the Pattern File for the Non_3D Library too. M.

These are the Settings I am using on the Current Remodel Project I just started which was also measured to Drywall.....so far so good....

and better VideoCards , as some are learning with X10 ,an All in one is basically a Laptop on a Stand ( computer is in Monitor basically) and most are not Upgradable. I am not aware of any benefits of a Touchscreen related to Chief , so you could perhaps save money with a Non-touch version , unless you want that for everyday use? you don't say what model HP 27", does it have a Nvidia graphics card? of just an Intel? ,(both?) the Intel will work but Chief recommends Nvidia for better performance M.
