You can also , with both versions Closed , goto your X13 Data Folder>Toolbars Folder and Rename it Toolbars.old ( saves folder for backup , instead of deleting it) and then copy the Toolbars folder from the X12 Data Folder into the X13 Data Folder and restart X13. Mick.

Fill Window will show you everything in the Plan , it may not be within your current Sheet though.....

Probably an issue with your Panel Symbol ?, can't you use an Open Railing and the Middle Rail instead of a Panel for that? *post the test Plan for people to have a "play for you" Is this Railing Code Compliant where you are? or is deck less than 24" off the ground? M.

Yes, seems a bit silly to me as I am not sure what is so "special" about RCs, that doesn't allow attaching like a text box. I have seen requests for the option to add an arrow to a RC but so far it hasn't happened. M.

Open the Arrow DBX for those settings but I have found arrows don't like Revision Clouds much in the past so YMMV.

In elevation you have to convert the RAILING to a Wall, (uncheck railing) pull the bottom down 8" and then turn Railing back on

Did you try adding Layers to your Floor Finish? And don't forget to do you Forum Signature please..... answers can depend on the Version in use....

Since you havn't done your Sig yet ( a good idea ) I'll assume X13 in use....

Walls usually snap nicely to CAD lines , change the Resize about option temporarily to inner or outer Surface and the follow the CAD line you've drawn. Mick.

There was a similar post last week and it was a Wall definition issue with which layer the platform was assign to build too. still just a guess though since you didn't attach the Plan. M.

that is MY Hotkey , ( not a defualt one) you will need to set it up if you also want to use it too. Mick.

You can add your own via Tools> Customise HotKeys ( Ctrl P is the default for Print , which I didn't use )

Chief has in on by Default in the Standard Plan Template ( Residental Template ) , so it will happen each time you start a New Plan if using Chief's Template. Mick.

Turn off Auto Refresh in your Template Plan ( for permanent fix) or any Plan and they won't generate automatically as you build the Home.

Even in Premier, Chief's Renderings are not truly Photo Realistic , and at this point Chief will not allow 3rd Parties like D5 Renderer to make plugins, as they are working on their own new Ray Tracing GPU based Render , though it is not Photo Realistic either ( and does not claim to be.) M.

One we have used here is to Drill the steel Post in both directions ( sized as needed ) , and insert pieces of rebar right through and weld them into the post, and crank as needed. Can be tied into Wall Rebar system too. M.

Allan is showing it in Autocad I think not Chief , it looks like that in TurboCAD for me too , it is a 3D model as I thought, however Chief will import it, but once you import it into Chief, ALL the imported Layers are OFF (not displayed) once checked on you will see them like this... or with a black background As it is a 3D model I would go back to the Source if possible and ask for a 2D DWG for each Floor....
