Many Paint manufacturers supply the RGB numbers ( see Chopsaw's pic above or mine below ) on their websites for the colors, eg. BM and SW, have them, so you can try that but if you don't have a color accurate monitor as Larry mentioned it may still not look right. Not sure how you got Black Gene if you clicked on the Blue as it seems to work okay.... My try using EyeDropper :

Chief NEEDS to connect to the Registration Server every 10-14 days via the Internet for security reasons or it can lock you out, so in this case that may have been the issue as all licenses since X10 now use the same Serial No# , ie your Ser. No# is for the User , not the Version these days. Mick.

Yes that's how I normally do it , I have added the CUT Icon to my Toolbar , as I am not a keyboarder so don't use Hotkeys much.

Yes that is what I was remembering with some Walls Glowing in PBR M.

Use a joist Direction Line to swing the Joists as needed, the Beams will follow if Auto generate is on.... You may also need to take control of the Plank Direction ( uncheck auto and spec yourself ) Otherwise you will need to turn off Auto Generate Deck Framing (* in the Room DBX ) and move items manually as needed. I think I remember Issues like this in X11 / X12 with PBR Views but don't remember the Fix, so a plan would be a help or perhaps send to Tech Support so it get logged if a PBR issue. M.

This is hard-coded and has always been like that , despite multiple requests for the User to be able to Specify it. They always build on the floor below the one Drawn on , however you can usually copy and paste them to the FDN Level (* then delete off level one) as Chief will build the Posts down to the Terrain anyway. Even after a reboot the C++ ADF is still open if Chief is Open ..... Re NV CP : I had not added my Profiles back after updating to 471.96 Drivers to see if it would help and have had no Crashes since now thinking about it, but as noted I still have the odd hang and the black flashing in Elevation views..... You may also have Crashes it if you have run MSI AfterBurner at some point.... Confirmed here : The Problems I am having are not new to the new update as far as I have experienced. I am not sure what Chief is doing with the C++ ADF though and I intermittently see the Crashpad Handler as in above Pic.

Put a copy back in the HotKeys Folder ( or copy over from X12 Hotkeys Folder if need )

Just got my 1st lockup for today closed an elevation , said yes to update Layout , then reopened Elevation to check I'd done something almost immediately, looked good, so I closed it again and it has hung........ still hung after typing this so will need to force close I think.......

A few have had toolbars issues , try going to Preferences>Reset Options> Reset Toolbars

No Crashes yet , but the black screening (2-3 secs) in the Elevation Views and sending to Layout is still happening as it did in the previous Version. Currently using Nvidia's 471.96 Drivers ( latest AFAIK) on my 3080 M.

As Eric mentioned a plan would be handy otherwise we are playing 20 questions..... 1.) make sure all Roof plane pitches are identical 2.) makes sure the Roof plane Baselines are where they should be ...ie over the main layer of their respective Wall. M.

There won't be any updates for X12 now X13 has been released ...... X13 maybe in you Locker though if your SSA was/is Valid

It sounds like you are using Home Designer Arch. 2021 not Chief Architect Premier , so it would be best to ask questions over on the HomeTalk Forums (Blue Theme) as the libraries are Different in the Home Designer Series of Products. https://hometalk.chiefarchitect.com/

You cannot have defaults for the 2nd Floor pre-setup, ( disregarding the SAM Method) but are given the chance to change and set them up in the DBX when you create the second floor , if you just click OK ? Chief copies the Defaults from the Floor below.... M.

Have you perhaps toggled Perspective Crop Mode On? is it hotkey assigned maybe? it is no longer on the Toolbars by default but can be placed there manually.
