I was doing that with no success. Turns out I had to reconvert it to a symbol first. Then I could make it treated as a handle.

Aside from creating individual cabinets and applying pulls one at a time, does anyone know the process (if one exists) of importing 3D pulls so they attach to cabinets? I feel like a newbie.

Michael, thanks so much for the info!

I get those all the time. I'd be very curious about any responses you receive.

Thanks for the reminder. Done!

Wonderful, thanks!

I use the wall elevation view quite a bit. It's perfect for kitchens and baths, and in general when I don't want to show anything beyond walls. Two things I REALLY wish we could do with it: Resize its clip plane to expand its width to include adjacent walls. Break it to step its cutting planes. Both of these are possible with regular elevations.

Perry, I never even noticed that!

That's interesting, and encouraging that it's not just me. Do you happen to remember if it happened before X9? Thanks. -

Yes, it's the wall elevation tool. I've done it many times in the past. No problem pasting between elevation windows in the same plan -
Would you consider upgrading your machine? I find that it's necessary every couple of years, especially when Chief comes out with a new version. And I agree with Perry to stick with NVidia. Usually a gaming graphics card works well with Chief. Once I spent a $1k on a workstation graphics card at someone's advice, and it turned out that a $400 card was much faster for Chief. If you do an upgrade, don't do an integrated graphics card (you probably already know this).

Mystery circle and pointer shape, any ideas what it is?
Adam_Gibson replied to IAmScott's topic in General Q & A
Sometimes I'll open a plan and every time I get that at one intersection. I'll delete and rebuild and the issue stops until next time I open the plan. -
Electrical Symbol Placement Painfully Slow..
Adam_Gibson replied to HumbleChief's topic in General Q & A
I'm not having that problem. Thank goodness. But I haven't been working on very large plans. What I've found helpful in the past is to put items with a lot of facets on their own layers that I turn off until I need to see them. -
I have pretty fast computers, so it doesn't affect me much, I have noticed a bit of a lag over previous versions. Five years is ancient!

How to force a blind corner cabinet with an adjacent opening
Adam_Gibson replied to niedermee's topic in General Q & A
It's in the drop-down list for cabinets. Draw it to any size you wish. -

Not sure if it's unique to this new plan I'm working on, but I no longer have the ability to copy from a wall elevation and paste it into another wall elevation in a different plan. I've done this for ages until now. Anyone else having issues?
