Although the molding will only be 1/2" thick, I assume what I'm attempting is to coffer a barrel ceiling. I've tried with ceiling planes and with polyline solid. I prefer the look of the p solid because the arch can be much more fluid if I break the arch (see close up of yucky barrel just below the more fluid one). Either way, I can't figure out how to apply molding to either so it matches the arch. Heck, I wish I could just apply cabinet doors to form the arch. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. When I opened the Layer Set Options on the RCP in Layout, it shows Layer Set 38. It could be that each time you've sent to Layout you've made a copy of the Active Layout Set, rather than sending the Default Set. See graphic.

In my experience, using Quatros was a waste of money. Seems like a fast gaming system is a way to go if you're doing a lot of renderings. Keep in mind that raytracing uses your processor, while most of the other rendering styles rely on your video card. Take a look at my signature, which is a new system. No complaints.

In Layout, select the view you're having problems with; Click on the Layer Set Options; Select the same Layer Set as the one in plan view that looks correct. (that you thought you sent to Layout); That should fix it so you're seeing the same lines as the one in your plan view.

I use three systems, with all the library items in DropBox. This works flawlessly as long as A} the preferences in all three machines point to the correct folder, and B} this is the kicker, the files are not open on multiple machines at once. But I'm assuming you work simultaneously. I recall at the Users' meeting that networking is now possible, so I'd give tech support a call and see what they recommend.
