If I understand correctly, the m.2 would need a new motherboard that supports PCIe?
-
You rock. Thanks.

Well, I'll be, Glenn. You solved it. Thank you so much!

As noted, the through-wall lines layer is off. Here's the plan. Thanks for any input! Ross_01.plan

Great suggestion. Unfortunately, it didn't work.

This is so odd. There are new wall break lines that aren't really breaks, in four places. 1. Where the two invisible walls (dashed) touch the walls, they appear to break the solid wall, but the wall is not broken. When I select those walls they are whole. The "breaks" show regardless of whether the invisible walls are showing, and the "breaks" move in conjunction with the invisible walls when I move them. 2. The "breaks" on two corners are not breaks either. They appear to be Through-Wall-Lines, but that layer is off. When on, yet another line appears in another corner. The adjacent rooms are the same height. The walls are all the same type. Temporary dimensions on one wall go to the surface (as it should), yet on another wall in the room goes to the main layer. I usually try to get feedback from your peeps before I send into support.

I thought the video card would be screaming fast. I have yet to start a new project with it though.

My old system: Win 10 Pro; i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz (12 CPUs); 16GB RAM; GeForce GTX1060 6GB; 500GB SSD My new system: Win 10 Pro; i7-8700 CPU @ 3.70GHz (12 CPUs); 32GB RAM; GeForce RTX2080 8GB GDDR6; 500GB SSD Not a huge difference as far as I can tell. Just thought I'd put it out there.

Thanks Cheryl! What's funny is that had read that article before posting and simply didn't see that link. Thanks again!

I no longer have access to any older versions. That's the problem!

After searching old threads, it doesn't appear that anyone has a solution. But if any of you old timers found one, please let me know how you've been able to view these ancient Chief files. Maybe someone has an old version that I can "borrow?" But damn, all my dongles are long gone.

That's it! Thanks Joe. I really appreciate it.

Interesting. And frustrating. Surely, I'm not the only person trying to create cabinet pulls. Anyone else out there? Thanks for trying, Joe!
-
Joe, where is the option for "Embedded Geometry?" I don't see it during the import process. By the way, I'm trying to import a SketchUp object.
-
I"m sure it must be me, but when creating a pull, or getting one from 3D Warehouse, and converting it to a symbol, I don't see how to attach it to a cabinet. When I open the symbol, I assume I should check the radio button "Inserts into Cabinet Front." But it doesn't show up in the library. Who knows the proper way to create cabinet pulls and add to the library?

My pleasure!

Interesting. When I mull units a casing is always applied. I can't make it stop, so I have to remove it every time I mull units.

Thanks for bringing this up. I have the same problem but didn't think to report it. I will.

That's such a simple and logical idea, and one I never dreamed of. Thank you!
