Chief doesn’t know what to put there because the layer doesn’t have depth. It’s best to do as chopsaw says and custom mix a color with your drywall otherwise at least some thickness to the paint.

p2p is exactly that not snapping to anything but rather going to the point you indicate with your cursor.

I had the need to do this about a year ago and found no other way to do it at that time other than turning on footing turn off foundation walls and then place polylines over the footings (did allow me to place different hatches for different types and heights of footings which was a bonus). Then I was able to dimension to the footings. But it was not dynamic and also something that I would not normally do for a client but this was for a friend.

Something like this? This is a 5026 Fixed on top set to level 1, a 2626 Fixed left side bottom set to level 0, and a 2626C on the right set to level 0 as well. Mull the lower two together first then mull that and the top one together second.

Funny I am running a 5 year old pro Apple machine with dual AMD video cards. They aren't super fast with x13 (definitely doable for what I do), but I just do not have any issues with x13 with them. Other than not being able to use the RTRT function I have had x13 be very stable for me.

I agree I would like the ability to stay connected to something in the same location as I use the copy and paste in place sometimes for the next string. But if you have a bunch of identical floors you could just dimension the one floor and use the reference display for each floor above just referencing the dimensions. Won't see the point marker. Won't be smart dimensions but will also save some work.

I am sorry I do not understand what you are describing here. To place an elevation camera you can use the auto-place exterior elevations or just click outside the wall you want with the elevation camera and point towards the side you want and release. Could be a technique issue or otherwise I would say it is your GPU or driver for GPU.

Do you have grid snapping on? If you are needing to be that precise as far as the plans you may want to adjust your smallest dimension available to 1/16"
