  1. Mike: It would help if you post your plan but from what you describe it sounds like you need to define the space where you want on open ceiling using the room divider tool. Once you've done that, select the room, open the DBX and, in the ceiling section of the Structure tab, uncheck 'Flat Ceiling Over This Room' . Eric

  6. I've changed my colors to the 'Stone' theme which gives me a medium grey background for the toolbars and I also use a light grey background for drawing background. It is easier on the eye's.

  13. Open the DBX for the doorway and go to the 'Casing' tab and uncheck 'Use Sill/Threshold'.

  17. You can also leave the sunlight on but then adjust the color. Open the 'Adjust Sunlight' DBX and select 'Use Sun Angle' then select 'Edit". That will open another DBX, from there select the 'Lighting Data' tab and then you can adjust the color.   20. If you just need to capture an image, try the Snip tool (Win7 and up), works great.
