The OP asked how to print 3D view as a PDF, heres's an example which was created by Chief PDF: 10th St Kitchen-under counter power.pdf
-
Very simple: - File/Export/Export PDF

I do not, I was just commenting on your nice work.:)

Very nice work. Based on your comments, I'm assuming this was modeled in Chief and then exported to Lumion for the video.

Install the Pet Door on the wall next to the door, open the DBX and adjust the size then copy and paste to your door (I found this works best in an elevation view). Also, be sure to adjust the size of the casing and uncheck 'Use Sill/Threshold' (Casing tab).

There are several Pet Doors in the Bonus Catalogs. Look for Accessories No.05 Pets.

How to make half a room open to the 2nd floor ceiling

You can also select the room above and in the 'General' tab, define the 'Room Type' as "'Open Below'. -
How to make half a room open to the 2nd floor ceiling
ericepv replied to M-Ferioli's topic in General Q & A
Mike: It would help if you post your plan but from what you describe it sounds like you need to define the space where you want on open ceiling using the room divider tool. Once you've done that, select the room, open the DBX and, in the ceiling section of the Structure tab, uncheck 'Flat Ceiling Over This Room' . Eric -
Great site, thanks for posting John.

I've changed my colors to the 'Stone' theme which gives me a medium grey background for the toolbars and I also use a light grey background for drawing background. It is easier on the eye's.

You could build this from polylines. There are some good articles and videos in the Knowledge Base that cover how to do this, it's not too difficult..https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/database.html
