I would make one minor suggestion. Since you are not doing any interiors. Set your 3D views to have opague windows.

You will go broke at that rate.

If it is a material you can see on your screen, you could use the material painter tools. Click on the one you want to capture and then click on the item you want to paint. It is a great tool but don't use it to change siding types (do that under wall definitions).

You may have your wall definition siding thicker than the window trim.

A wall can not do it. You can use a molding but as Glenn pointed out, a window will cause some problems.

I created a door on the left and a window on the right. Can you tell the difference?

This might be overly simple but could you just use a 72"x80" window set on the floor and label it a door?

Check it in plan view and make sure it is still defined as the type of room you want.

Select it in plan view. You will have to turn that walls layer on if you currently have it off.

I'm not sure about the wall situation but you might want to add another riser. 24/3= 8". It will be out of code compliance.

The trex system is really only used for a deck with exterior space under it, not interior space.

Lose the roof at the perimeter walls and replace with a rail. This will provide unrestricted flow.

Do yourself a favor and don't be the designer that specified crown molding on a sloped ceiling. The only way in the real world to do this is with transition blocks and it looks really bad.

The owner should cover your cost without involving the insurance company as approval for payment. You are really asking for trouble to do it any other way. Don't get pulled into the world of insurance approved draws. If you have a homeowner that says they have no funds to pay for plans, I would decline the job.

You would use compacted fill for all but the top 4" where the slab would go.

I can think of many things to say about converting a "patio cover" to a bathroom but "simple" is not one of them.

There is a function to "align with below" for the walls. That would be a start.

Most people now want the simplicity of gas. Very light units, put them any where and a lot of them are direct vent. I built a real masonry fireplace at my own house but it can be quite a financial commitment. even though its the real thing and I can burn wood in it. I installed a gas line igniter so I can always install a gas insert unit if I get tired of the wood thing.

isokern or similar system is a good way to go. Very few people install actual masonry fireplaces any more. Even these lightweight units need a footing system though. Bad builders try to eliminate it but it is just too much weight to bear on a normal floor system. Especially if you start adding the weight of a faux stone surround.
