It's odd that your X11 "icons" would look like X9 "icons" since the installation of X11 or any future update of X11 would automatically update the "icons". Chief calls the "icons" buttons and you will find them @ C\Program Files\Chief Architect\Chief Architect Premier X11 (64 bit)\resources\buttons There are hundreds of them. You could copy them all, or just the ones you want from your employee's 'puter and then paste them into the buttons folder on your rig. You may be asked for administrative permission to overwrite the existing buttons. Also be aware that if you are hand picking a few buttons to change, there are many similar buttons. Be sure you are copying the correct ones.

Not sure if this is what you mean, but Chief has it's own Screen Capture tool.

Resources for California Residential
Rich_Winsor replied to Renerabbitt's topic in Building Codes and Compliance
I really don't know how you guys put up with this never ending regulation. Next thing you know they will be limiting the VOCs in the construction workers farts (though this might not be a bad idea ). -
Don't know if this was mentioned but one of the main reasons I prefer to build my own rigs is that you can install only the applications you want. You don't get a machine with all kinds of bloatware eating up your resources before you even start.

Is Buying A Different Program The Best Way To Draw Dormers?
Rich_Winsor replied to EconBlueprints's topic in General Q & A
What a great thread, but we need to get back on topic. Just finished the pour for our duplex garage. We used the AnchorMates to good effect. Another downside to "stab and jab" is that hopefully there is some rebar in there that can get in the way. I had my guys tie the anchor bolts together with a length of rebar. If this garage blows over it's gonna take the foundation with it. Here's a fuzzy shot getting laid out for the pour. -
If it doesn't work out for you, you could put your name on the list for one of these. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/now/aurora-supercomputer/overview.html

LOL… and here is a happy little Normal Map that I like to apply to my floor texture.

I found some basic pipe fittings @ 3D Warehouse and was able to import them into Chief but I wasn't smart enough to get the origin offsets to line up properly so aligning the fittings onto the pipes was a total crap shoot. The results turned out pretty well though.

Setting Default ANNO Set For Elevations Cross Sections?

Don't know what to say Chad, but your image is showing a wood grain texture that isn't the default for Siding 6. Have you applied a bump or normal map to your siding? BTW, zooming in or out doesn't change anything on my end.

FWIW, I'm not seeing this either in camera views or in exported pictures of the camera views.

A noble aspiration my friend, but I think you might need to set aside a little more time for this project. I don't want to discourage you but I have been doing this years now (since X5) and there are still options I haven't explored.

Hey Eric, is this a service you are offering because if it is I have about a dozen down votes you might look into.

I use a very vanilla tool bar layout, but what I do is to have all the tool bars at the top or left edge of the screen. What with the ever expanding workspace on the larger and higher resolution monitors this allows for much less mouse travel to access the tool bars. I generally keep the Browsers and ALDO open on a second monitor.

Sorry KB. I wasn't ragging on you. My intent was to facetiously comment on Chop's willingness to go the "extra mile/millisecond" for us. It just struck me as funny, but I didn't mean to imply that you wouldn't put out the extra effort to get it right. At least I cracked myself up.

I noticed the similarity too Chopper. Thanks for taking the extra time to get the wording right.

Hey! Quit picking on me. I use the Manual. It makes a good step to reach things on high shelves. -
Not exactly. That hard drive is a dinosaur. Don't settle for anything less than a SSD. Also Windows 10 Home is terrible. If you insist on Windows 10 get the Pro version. At least you will get a limited degree of control over the relentless updating process.

Damn Mark, is there anything you can't make from a cabinet? -
You can use the "Add Lights" tool to add additional light sources to your image. Once you have added an additional source you can control it's properties in the "Light Specification" DBX.
