    It would be good to see a real-world example of the desired outcome, maybe you use a small roof plane that buts the into the zero degrees roof plane

  5. Not sure what you mean try un selecting shelf ceiling over drum pits that was a guess that I thought you wanted but I might have guessed wrong

    just manual edit roof plains with auto roof turned off.
  8. I re uploaded that plan file it now has that gable window detail as a way to do it

  11. I had a look at your file, you need to look at that video most of the issues are talked about in that video, the problems I saw auto roof not turned on roof, auto deck framing not turned on for deck and roof not turned on for deck rooms 1234272422_NEWFRONTPORCHADDITION1256BLOOMERYROAD.plan
  12. I replayed the video there is no background noise try watching on a different on a different computer or phone as for trouble simplifying the model just remove stairs draw a square deck tha get that right then add back the stairs also don’t turn off auto deck framing.

    The floor plans don’t show the roof plains ask the client if the have a more detailed set of drawings you never know they may have given you the wrong set of drawings.

    A roof plan might make it easier to understand that roof if one exists

  19. Not sure give it a go the added floor might be better, if you don't want to see those walls on first floor put them on different layer so you can turn off
