  4. Sorry i did not read your first properly, I do not how to help with over framing its adding complexity that I have little knowledge off

See if that model is cleaner and closer to what you want. you need to not place roof plains on top of each other with out cutting and joining to each other if it is what you want i can do a video show how I did it, also I change the rafter sizes to 6"not what size you want but 9" seemed to big to me not sure thought and causing some gaps Roof Frame help.plan
  6. Also you can unlock roof trim layer and adjust how you want it
  7. Now that you are having a go at it, see if you can share or upload your plan file you should get quicker more accurate answers

  9. Its all good don't worry but it still has a problem it must have been open in chief as the plan file has zero bytes size or maybe you attached the same file
  10. I think you had the file open in chief when you zipped it, as the file has 1 Kb make sure you don't have it open in chief when compressing it, also it may end up being bigger than 14mb after zipping it so you may have to put it on google drive dropbox or other

  12. Project management is on by default in x17 so things look different but depending on what your are doing you might want to turn it of in preference's and go back to save as option

  17. Here is a possible option, or if you could get a photo with your phone with even lighting no shadows and crop it so its tile able, this image shows as tile able.

  22. I can't help with your problem sorry i tried but no luck, but I had a thought when sharing file on chief talk for help I would export disconnected plan file it is way smaller
