Ask for dwg format, 3d only allows for a symbol and you cannot edit it.
-

Mark3D replied to DefinedDesign's topic in General Q & A
The rooms on the right hand side of your plan have a lowered floor height -56 1/4" witch lowers your top plate height and roof plane pitching height as for the gaps they can be fixed by drawing attic walsl latter If you want i could do a screen share and help you if that interest you send me a private message -

porch walls...issue where they connect to house walls
Mark3D replied to Jambruins's topic in General Q & A
Try opening railing wall, wall type on exterior layer and interior layer turn off framing see if that helps, things seem ok on my end but it has some strange rebates in the slab -

How to stop an interior wall from resizing the exterior one?
Mark3D replied to tomzak's topic in General Q & A
Would wall material region tool help with this -
Also the footing just turn it off under wall dialog foundation tab.
-
Forget dynamically just build terrain then turn of auto build terrain edit the retaining wall jobs is done, editing the retaining wall is a bit strange but it works, it seems like it is crossing over it’s self but ignore it as it does not seem to matter
-
Is that what you want
-
If you are still using retaining walls make sure the default top and bottom are selected as if you have adjusted the wall top or bottom chief will no longer auto adjust there top or bottom positions to match the terrain
-
Upload your plan so you will get best help
-
If you mix glens smart idea with Make roof base polyline it works with auto roof and you can loose the invisible walls
-
Give this a go your model is way of zero position see if it helps Shaw garage.zip

Sorry i missed that this is the way chief handles those roof situations I don't know why this happens, but it does happen it has been talked about on this forum but I don't know there is way to get auto roofs to handle it. What i do is start with auto roof and then do a manual edit at the end rooftest.plan
