With terrains you cannot just put one piece of elevation data you need multiple elevation data, as if you have one elevation region the hole terrain will move to that height in relation to the settings in terrain perimeter. So a sloped block of land with an 8' slope you might have 4' elevation data and -4' elevation data you must control the terrain with more than one piece of elevation data

See if that helps With those dormer side walls set to roof cuts bottom and framing stickout turn of there layers in camera views and i manualy moved top and bottom height dormer face wall so may affect framing but was only way i could figure to look good Sargent_auto_save mark edit.zip

May be upload your plan file as that plan looks a bit tricky for a new learner if you cannot figure it out.

Try to upload your file it will make it easier to help you, if its over 14 meg compress it.

Compress it or zip, it does not seem to be a big file. or another thing to try i find furniture can make a large file, so save as then delete things that are making it a large file Also show chief version

In camera view Cad Menu Automatic Dimensions Auto Story Pole dimensions or in section view draw manual dimensions

I had play with your model its rough but the basic shape is there you will need to get it more accurate, hopefully you can continue from that, as for the terrain i got rid of over lapping height data see if you can follow on from there to get it better. I made your terrian data standout it helps when trouble shooting terrain problems you should be able to see any overlapping height data issues. Fox.zip

I would ask chief support they should be able to get you sorted with this question its about time they put out a video showing how these formulas work

I would report this to chief it seems like a bug to me

Transform replicate tool most items have that tool in there tool bar and z is up and down in 3d space check it out it can be a precise way to move things

Ask for dwg format, 3d only allows for a symbol and you cannot edit it.
