Maybe share your Chief plan file then it will be easier to see what is going on

Stairs cut walls like roof so my guess is the that the stairs need to be pull to inside of wall.
-
I am no expert on this, but I selected rafters then build auto dormer and after that I reselected trusses, seems to work.
-
To move forward I would set the roof pitches correctly, then use the transform replicate to adjust there heights and then hopefully everything will fall into place. If not ash question here
-
I had a go at it , have a look at the file attached file might get you moving in the right direction I did auto roofs on lower story by moving upper story wall out of the way, then I put upper story walls back, then did manual roof on upper story but all manual roof would also work fine It's not correct as I would have to do too much guessing, so you should be able to edit and correct it 1 Woodlawn Ave As Built mark edit.plan

I did a test and it seems to be giving volume based on it being flat area * skirt height
-
I used a plan of chief talk to test its imperial and yours is metric that might be the difference
-
The area and volume is the same so there is no volume calculated
-
Have a look at this it might get you moving in the right direction maybe, i had to use some polyline solids and a sofit to make it look better witch maybe no good for working drawings. One more thing i don't think your landing is not the write height looking at photos New Plan.zip

Roofing Material Doesn't Populate In Materials List

Can you share your plan -
I always use a keyboard shortcut key to build terrain and i don't use auto build, so it seems chief does not auto build terrain until a camera view is used, and auto build does not show in plan view until camera is opened then floorplan is updated with auto build on. I hope there is clue in there to help with what is going on

You need to have more than one elevation region for height data that gives you a flat terrain try adding some more elevation data at different heights Sorry i rushed this reply edit with more infomation Both elevation heights are the same elevation region and line are the same heights when i correct it then even with auto build terrain does not seem to kick in straight away so i used a shortcut key command to build terrain that fixed it not sure what is going on just seems a bit slow to auto build

-
To get a real world example if knows a house address i can look at on google or apple street view or can he show something on the internet that would help me
-
It would be good to see a real-world example of the desired outcome, maybe you use a small roof plane that buts the into the zero degrees roof plane
-
You can give the baselines a angle
-
See if this file has it fixed you have selected floor supplied by foundation below instead of floor under this room Jerica Mason edit mark.zip
