  1. Can't get any 360 panos to rotate at all on all of them even older ones that used to work. Anyone else?
  2. I don't think you can do this in California without the anchors going through all the plates, unless you use some "A34's" to connect them at 16" o.c. depending on what the engineer says the spacing needs to be.
  3. When the anchor bolts are insufficient for uplift then you go to holdowns attached to 4x4 posts to comply, it all depends on the shear wall length. My framers are also very good dealing with out of square and level buildings, never had a problem they can't fix.
  4. I keep about 3 versions of Chief on my hard drive in total, after I get a forth version, I delete the oldest version and put the entire Chief data folder to the backup drive for future use if needed. mainly the jobs file .The data file contains a lot of stuff like macro's, images, templates, textures. etc. you want to keep if needed. That's another reason you want to put any macros in the scrip's folder. Use those folders to put your custom stuff in or create your own folders to put stuff in.
  5. You could save it to Chiefs cloud and there is a save to disk option, have you tried that, but I think it needs to be on the cloud to work, but I could be wrong. Call tech support.
  6. of course you still need a cad detail for rebar and exact condition, Chief doesn't do that.
  7. Don't think so, b/c you need to use the export function. Not aware of any other method.
  8. I saw that , just suggesting , if you have the capabilities, that's how I would do it in premier. There are lots of other ways also.
  9. You can make your newels 16" sq. and a brick material, and use post to beam, but not sure what your actual conditions are and capabilities your program has, or just use p-solids for your newels.
  10. You could also just undo it right after you do the auto detail.
  11. I would use a pony wall for that, if your program allows pony walls.
  12. You can always just drag it down in section-elevation view. You might be able to use the new shelf ceiling tool depending on if you need a lowered ceiling or not.
  13. Nice review, myself, I have never used 20-20 but I know first hand, you have highly customized Chief for your purpose, and you have done it successfully. I wish everyone could see what you have done. I had no idea. That on-line seminar Scott did was very interesting. Thanks Mark
  14. Yes Glen, it would make since to just add delete auto detail cad items to the delete list as a separate item.
  15. looks like it will be fine for you. good price too.
  16. it was a no harm-no foul little bug.
  17. For me the latest update changed some anno-set settings, just for text layers in the anno-set. It changed them back to cad default, so all I had to do was change them to the correct layer. Why , I don't know.
  18. Why don't you call tech support and ask them, as I have never had any intel video card. I like NVidia.
  19. Alan I use the" match property's" tool, you wouldn't have to change the room back.
  20. Your helping everyone when you speak
  21. set your casing to zero and try it.
