Thanks Joe, wish it did. I would like to start using it. This will change if you delete the aerial view and bring it back. I have to think it isn't working properly.

Is anyone else using the Aerial view with a layout page showing , not able to get the aerial view to change along with a page change using the Project browser. It doesn't work for me. like this

Actually I have no eyes, my wife has wired my brain so I would take out trash and do dishes.

Remember too many cad details will slow down Chief.

You can still draw them in a layout page cad detail to scale, just set the page setup to whatever scale you want to for that detail

I haven't had a problem when I have a plan open, then place my lib on the 2nd monitor and save it that way, the plan then opens correctly with the lib. on the 2nd monitor every time.

I create my details in the layout and copy to the lib. very easy to change that way, no more than your way. ..........................

ok, now I see it, a very quick blink, truthfully it doesn't bother me but could be something, I'll see if it does it for me or not.

You can also just put it outside the layout page and leave it there, it won't print

No, keep it b/c you never know when you want to work on an X5 job. Plans cannot go back once the have been brought forward to X6

I have all my usual details already on the layout but also keep the overflow in the lib. There are many more in the lib. as there are in the layout. Of course, that way is not to scale but I never want anyone scaling details anyway

Ron You had some nice hand, I remember back in the day, when I went to computers, people hated those generic looking computer drawings, now they love them. I actually lost a few clients but told them to get with it or use someone else. Eventually they all came back. I used to shadow the elevations by hand vs. the bland lines.

Today I put an SSD drive in my computer, took about a couple of hours and WOW!! It is very fast, faster then I have ever seen. You guys gota try this one, if you want more speed. I got a 1TB Samsung 840 EVO. very easy process, anyone can do it, they give you all the software needed. I one happy GUY NOW. My wife better watch out.
