  1. I know I've seen one but couldn't remember where it was.
  2. Well, here is how I do it
  3. I always try to keep it simple b/c I hate typing. And yes, you are correct for sloping terrain (thanks for adding that) but this is your" secret out of the box method" and Chief knows nothing about that, use at your own risk and it works good.
  4. there are a lot of video's on how to do this online. Check out chieftutor.com , also Chief's own videos at their website.
  5. Do you have it checked in the dimension defaults?
  6. Not automatic but you can use the post tool and it will give you a pier automatically (adjust in the framing /post) DBX first. Make one then multiple copyusing the exact spacing you need.
  7. have you tried this one
  8. With a lot of changes, the codes here go every 3 years, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016.
  9. How fast we can scream depends on the engine used. New and faster engine means more money. Revit starts at 6,000 plus, I'm sure it has a faster engine.
  10. ok I thought you wanted the door label to change not the callout or the schedule.
  11. I hate to tell you guys but the current code is 2013 around here.
  12. create a text label style for door labels and make it anything you want
  13. Actually here, we cannot end a footing without a small pad. but you might try using an opening if you want the footing to continue thru to the other side. If I understand you correctly
  14. Its been so long ago for X2, sorry can't help.
  15. The spelling police just doubled---oh supreme being please help me.
  16. I would think that the best driver is the latest one. When I installed 335.23 , it was a beta then
  17. There's something else I'd like to nail--but forgot how.
  18. I'm using the 335.23 and not having any problems. It is a beta driver but I always use the beta ones just to keep up. Nvidia drivers are good for all the different cards they sell. Try this latest one it may work for you.
  19. Yes , I just turn off the electrical labels b/c those labels are mostly already with the cad block. I also use an electrical legend so I don't need those labels.
  20. For showing the existing walls on the remodeled floor use a background cad mask, don't use walls, it confuses Chief, Take the existing floor plan, turn off everything you don't want to see, then make a view to cad, block it and copy it to the remodeled plan. Make sure your lineweight for whatever layer you put it on is maybe a 10 or 12 in dark gray. Now whenever you remove a wall the existing will show up on the plan. This method just makes for a cleaner model.
  21. Agree, it should have been fixed, there has been a lot of threads on this and it's been sent to TS
  22. Jintu is very good by the way, I told you, you would find someone here.
  23. Post the plan, someone here will fix it zippity du da., lickity split. Sounds like a room problem to me.
