  1. Well, what if its a landing slab, you can't lower it more than 1 1/2" from the threshold of the raised floor. I can make this work but you can't do it automatically, you have to create a manual footing along side of the stem wall footing. You know I learned it form you a while back. It is a bug for sure.
  2. Also we shouldn't have to lower the slab a couple more inches, it should be any height you want.
  3. Yes but look at the way the porch slab lowered the stem wall. I have been trying to get Chief to fix this for a very long time.
  4. Yes, those were very good examples of slowness.
  5. Here in Calif. we want one roof under the other, it's called California framing, only thing is that the roofing material itself is also there (under) so it will blow the materials list out of wack.
  6. Yep, I just wanted to see if I experience slowness in the same areas as you do.
  7. You should post them here also.
  8. Yes, as you can see ,there are no exterior walls on the 3rd floor. Glad you found your answer.
  9. Just delete them in 3d view. Why would you add the walls there on the 3rd floor with the roof where it is. If you want knee walls add them inside -offset from the outside walls, unless you want to raise the roof planes. Just not sure what you want.
  10. Ok tried it with the timer on. The timer showed similar times but I really feel the timer didn't start counting when the button is pressed. Like when the Camera symbol stays on in plan view- wasn't counted b/c it showed a fraction of a second in time ,but the camera symbol stayed on for a couple of seconds more. Maybe the internal part was done but you don't see it till the camera symbol goes off. So the perception is ,that it takes longer. I'm also not sure when the timer starts and stops. It sure seems longer in X7 still..
  11. Thanks , I'll give it a shot.
  12. The only problem with that is X6 seems to work very fast on the same system.
  13. I just don't see or feel it that way.
  14. Thanks, Doug, I'll have to check that out.
  15. Bill, nice, you are the Fake Curtain magically turns into a casing man.
  16. The new tool gives you different degrees of transparency, not just total transparency.
  17. I have done that in the past and They don't see any slowing at all. Did a long time ago. For me, it's every plan so it's not plan specific.
  18. I got it to go away by messing with that roof plane, not exactly sure what I did but just squared off the back of that plane. F7 dd rev3.zip
  19. Microsoft tells us that in windows 8.1 ,you don't need to defrag, it's automatic. Is that your understanding.
  20. Hey, does toilet water really swirl counter clockwise down there?
  21. Your not wasting my time, none of it belongs to me anyway. Most things are just that easy if you know how its done, I'm still learning too.
  22. here is a short video http://screencast.com/t/6rLEE5qxI
  23. Another easy way is to just create a molding profile (left side faces the wall) and use that as your casing.
