Joe_Carrick
I believe that's call Skirl siding. I thought there was some in the Library but I can't find it.

DRAWZILLA
You can also take a straight on picture of it and convert that to a texture.

Chief_Content
We offer 3 variations of siding similar to this in the "Rustic Wood Materials" bonus catalog. http://3dlibrary.chiefarchitect.com/index.php?r=site/detail/972 They are labeled as "Waney Edge", but also have search terms for "Live Edge". I hadn't heard the term "Skirl" before, but can add that to the key word search in the future. We don't currently offer a pattern file that represents this in vector views, but it is something we hope to include in the future. I hope these are helpful. Greg_NY61
The term "skirt" is used as an example, is when you have a room lets say on top of a deck with vinyl siding and you enclose the sides of the deck using lets say a vertical siding, etc... the sided lower portion of the deck is called a "skirt" ... or another example is you have a sided trailer and you drop the siding down to enclose the under carriage, that lower portion would be called a "skirt". Joe_Carrick
Greg, The terminology for this type of siding is "SKIRL", not "SKIRT". It's the siding made when a log is "slabbed" but the edges are not "dressed".
Dan_Park
I've always referred to these unedged boards as flitches.
Joe_Carrick
Dan, "Flitches" is the term used basically for the small pieces left after the board are trimmed square. For siding the term is "Skirl"

Greg_NY61
Joe, my apology, I misread the term... I heard of skirt but not skirl... never came across siding like this in my neck of the woods.
