Charlie
The wall material region is nice - having issues getting it to recess into the wall, though. Seems to just want to work on the surface. I was after this recess as shown here - these are 2 separate wall types with the window spanning them.
Joe_Carrick
Charlie, There is a setting for "Replace Surface Layers".
Charlie
I saw that and played with it for a bit, but could not get quite right. I will explore it some more. Definitely quick and easy and would work 99% of the time perfectly well.
Joe_Carrick
Charlie, It would depend on the Wall Type Definition. "Surface Layers" are those outside of the "Main/Framing Layer" on the exterior and inside of the "Framing Layer" on the interior.

To each their own, but if you want to share some tips, great....then do it.

HamlinBC
Sorry guys!...I thought the answer was going to come out. Usually everyone is up for a challenge, so I'm surprised it died out so quickly. Mine are pony walls...
Greg_NY61
I hope this not being done to an actual home and it was done as one of the challenges here to create that condition, because not only it looks ugly and it sticks out like a sore thumb, not to mention I don't know what HO would settle for that look, because it looks like a botched up design. Furthermore having the roof abut brick and siding at that location will cause nothing but problems down the road.
