MarkSM
I have this wall in plan view, but it's not showing up on any of my elevation views. I've tried everything I can think of, including deleting and redrawing everything, no luck. I'm sure there's an easy answer, but I can't find it for the life of me. lbuttery
Mark: you will need to post the plan otherwise, its only guesses Lew
chief58
Like Lew said just guessing but is your roof covering those walls that is what the picture looks like
DRAWZILLA
I can see that the lower roof plane is in the way so the walls can't generate. Just move the roof plane back.

DavidJPotter
21 hours ago, MarkSM said: I'm sure there's an easy answer, The basic programming of walls and roof planes is that roof planes cut off walls at the plane of the roof. Perry and Shane pointed this out, the roof plane is cutting off the walls you can see in plan view and is causing what you are seeing in camera views. It is the way Chief Architect Premier and Home Designer is programmed to work, so you work with it, following its programming rules. DJP
MarkSM
Thanks for the input guys. I sort of fixed the stairs (although there is still something not right) and now I've somehow created the same problem with the wall on the balcony. The floor plan shows a railing, but the elevation shows a wall. Balli2.plan.zip Balli2.plan.zip
justmejerry
Take the two walls and centre them on the one that already shows and they will show up as railings.

Thanks for the reply, Jerry. What 2 walls and which one that "already shows up"?
justmejerry
Your two railing walls that don't show as railings. Centre them on the railing wall that does show properly.
