  1. Select the wall, note that it is a deck railing or something like that, simply change the WALL STYLE to a SIDING WALL or a STUCCO WALL, that finish you are talking about comes from the WALL TYPE.
  2. Hey Ron, you want him to learn, you want him to watch different videos by whoever........ I remember when me and my buddies were twelve years old, there was less resistance on our part if the information we were studying was a little racy.
  3. Lynn just came home, I can't play anymore.
  4. Holy Kamoly Ron, I just watched it and I think there were only 1.75 bad words in the entire 21 minutes. That's a "G" rating in my book....... anyway..... I will make more of an effort to clean it up for your Grandson....... but then of course you could use me as an example for your grandson on how not to behave....... there you go..... turn a negative into a positive........ thank you, thank you very much.
  5. Thanks Ron, I will work on that.
  6. If nobody offers to do it by Thursday morning, email me Thursday morning and I will do it.
  7. Absolutely, I was not sure if they would be closed plines, hence doing one roof at a time, but Jim is correct, do all roofs at one time.
  8. Bill, with any luck here it is...... I seem to be having issues with these recordings, we will see if this works. MOLDING BACKSPLASHES REVISITED http://youtu.be/0nKmLCGY5uI
  9. Nope, I do not think so. But you can do this....... select one roof plane at a time, copy it, open new plan, PASTE IN PLACE, turn new plan into CAD LINES, select the lines from the roof shape, make sure it is closed, give fill, copy and now go back to original plan and PASTE IN PLACE.
  10. Well Bill, so we are going to the South Pacific next fall, and Lynn asks, "Honey, can you please read to me something about the Cook Islands", well we ain't going to the Cook Islands, we are going to the Society Islands, her friends are going to the Cook Islands, so I say okay, I will read something about the Cook Islands to you, and then I notice that Bill Page is looking for one of my videos, I say, "Babe, I can't read to you yet until I help Bill out". Not a smart move, she just went storming out of the room and down to bed, claiming that CA and Bill Page is more important than she is....... long story short, the vid ain't working, I will check on it in the morning, I will also check on my wife in the morning to she if she will ever talk to me again....... last time I do you any favors Bill Page.
  11. Have you tried calling chief architect? I think they have a few for sale.
  12. Thank you Lew, you are absolutely correct. Put the foundation on level 25 and have 24 floors below plus foundation. There is nothing magical about LEVEL zero if you build your own foundation. BTW, auto foundations would never work for 97% of my projects. Yes, auto foundation can get me started but I would always need to edit.
  13. BTW, I think using invisible walls is very limiting and very frustrating.
  14. ......well, i just did a vid explaining how to use pmoldings for back splashes. Look for it. That is your answer. You can and I do use this method for creating all of my back splashes and tub enclosures.
  15. Nuts, here is the video. Easy Peasy. PART 1 AND ONLY PART http://youtu.be/0nKmLCGY5uI let's try the link above
  16. Nuts, try using moldings for your backslashes, easy peasy, and then you can even wrap them around quite easily without having to create a separate psolid. All my back splashes are pmoldings, I may have to revisit that technique with the new BACKSPLASH TOOL, but when I think about it, the pmoldings are simpler to manipulate in most cases.
  17. I concur, and if you can combine the foundation with the basement plan do so....... and don't even use LEVEL ZERO. Nothing magic about that layer......
  18. That was a funny one, I go back every 6 months or so and listen to it, it cracks me up too. The JC waterfall video. With JC's help I learned a bit from doing that. I recently did some waterfalls on a pool design and it was so easy using JC's techniques.
  19. Bryce, please do not whisper your complaint, YELL IT OUT LOUD...... this is so frustrating, I agree, if I want to cancel because CA is taking too long, please let me cancel, this issue has been going on forever........ if Bryce and I are missing something, please let us know, otherwise please fix it so if we it cancel the operation in progress. Dog gone it Bryce, I had to give you two rep points for this post
  20. Probably not a bad place to post it. Do you have an idea of what it is worth to you. Are you thinking a 25.00 price or are you thinking the value is 500.00? Give us a price and somebody might be interested........ anything under 27.50 and I ain't interested.
  21. Come on Lew, don't complicate things, listen to Tommy, heed what Joey is saying and watch one of the multitude of videos I have done on the subject....... just don't ask me to find the vids, they are out there somewhere.
  22. I absolutely agree with Joey, however I love remodels, do them all the time, there are many ways to do what Joey is essentiallly saying, I think I have a better method and done videos on it..... bottom line, do not combine new with existing.
  23. I absolutely agree with Tommy. There, you have two nitwits saying the same thing, do what Tommy says until some smart guy comes along and says something different...... AND PROVES HIS METHOD IS BETTER.
  24. Nice job Bill, but not clear on what you did, would you mind elaborating.
  25. That is what I am talking about, I as well as I am sure many others do it this way.
