I have been lucky with the few clients I have recommended it to. I have never downloaded or messed with the client viewer, so I would be of no help, they are on their own. So when you recommend it to the client, just tell them you do not know how to work it, they will figure it out.

Never seen that, I assume you reopened the camera. SAVE THAT CAMERA, now close the bad view, select camera and reopen, all should be good.

I get that once in awhile. Easy fix is to go to plan view and select the END OF THE CAMERA and put it in the middle of the middle, now it won't fly off for that camera. Create a new camera and it might fly off again. Try resizing your terrain and see if that helps. Another possibility is you have something way off in the distance and CA is trying to include that in the view.

Easy answer, depending on the layer set you want to use, i.e. a 11x17 border or a 24x36 border, this can be determined via a layer set in the layout.... so why anno set? If you want to define & edit the layer set on sheet zero, you can first define the anno set which will define the layer set which will in turn define whether you are using a 11x17 border or a 24x36 border..... ah nuts, you know all this I am sure.

I cannot repeat this behavior on the mac..... but still..... when I set the LB on second monitor, it will still reset itself on the main monitor if I go to browser on second monitor and then back to CA on main monitor.

Yep, just got back, going thru withdrawals and jet lag. 2 days to recover and then...... Probably a lot of backed up work that needs to be done. Wish I could start the last two weeks all over again.

Another possibility is there is a room at level one that has a lowered floor.

Joe is correct, seArch CORNER WINDOWS VIDEOS BY DSH, that should get you a video on a method that we all worked on a couple years ago.

Not sure why you wouldn't rename your detail file and send that to layout in lieu of putting details into plan. This way you have kept your plan file smaller.

You know Tim it's these small things that if fixed improve the experience we have using CA. thanks for bringing this up, you might want to put it in the suggestions forum.

Along those same lines, it would be super if we could multiple select camera sand change layer or line style or whether they show on all floors etc. But once set up, no need. I'm like you, multiple cameras stay in the SAM PLAN or template plan.

Yeah, I did vids on this somewhere. It is sort of like a dormer window so think dormer window. Perry is correct, add that second floor, put a clerestory wall in, check ROOF CUTS WALL AT BOTTOM and you should be good to go.
