Set your text size colour and style for the "Cameras,Labels" layer. Easiest way to get there is select a camera with ALDO open.

I canceled the warning and it seemed to reverse the move that generated the warning. Trying to work through and figure it out. I think maybe I opened a roof plane and shot a 2x4 at the moon. Will keep you advised. Thanks. Looks like that is what happened but I am still trying to figure out the game rules.

Can't seem to get in touch with tech support. Has anyone else had a #272032605 Warning ? " 1 objects are too far away from the origin..... We recommend that you delete them. This seems to be new and has no Knowledge Base info. Nice catch for chief as this is a potentially difficult situation but I would really like to know what the object is before accepting the option to delete it.

Blurry cabinetry lines, ceiling lines and doors etc in X9
Chopsaw replied to EricWMLim's topic in General Q & A
Try toggling the new "Bloom" setting and "Ambient Occlusion" as thy both seem to soften shadows, while "Edge Smoothing" tends to sharpen them. Bloom seems to be effecting more than just light sources. -
Most likely a video card or driver issue or Chief is not using the correct card if you have a laptop. Post your computer specifications and someone will help also check your other settings in Preferences> Render.

Sounds to me like the new material was edited and not copied.

Yes there is still more work to be done yet.

You may have to turn off the railing newels by making them 0 thickness and draw the one at the top of the stairs manually. You have to make the railing wall thicker not just the newels.

Not exactly sure what type of fixture you want but this might get you started. https://chieftalk.chiefarchitect.com/topic/12132-coloured-lights-in-ray-trace/#comment-104038

Yes there is a thread about this, using the perspective floor overview camera top view is what you are after I think. Sorry Orthographic floor overview will work better to keep things square and true.

Very nice Rich, That solves a bunch of issues for a good still shot.

Should not be any problem to setup a back clipped cross section through or beside the auto stairs and as Jerry said trace over and the if you like make a symbol as Eric said. Let us know where you are hung up and maybe we can help.

That seems quite unusual but if you need to get it sorted out before Monday, you might want to post a sample plan and someone could take a look for you.

Could you attach the corrupted PDF file? I think that I just had the exact same issue in X9 and sent it all in to Tech support Att. Michael but would like to take a look at yours if I could. Or just post a .jpg screen shot of the issue areas. Thanks, Chopsaw

Ok but I think the Idea is to draw your title block/border on that page and then put the other stuff on another page and link the two. If it is only one page, what you did will be fine just draw your border there and you won't need another template. I can show you how to make your own videos if you like.

No you can add on to your current one if you like depending on how much it will be used or if your original is still something you would use without the new additions. Or you could make a copy of your existing D layout and add to it. Then if something goes wrong you still have the original even if you abandon or delete it later after you are sure you are happy with the new one.

Diane, If you make a new blank page and then open the Layout Page Information DBX from the Project Browser by right clicking on that new page it gives you that option and also right below that is where you assign your other pages to use that template. You can switch to None to draw your new border and then go back and reassign the page.

Yes I think Joe does his layouts that way. I set one up but have not fully tested it yet. You can have a second size title block/border on a separate layout layer set but you will have to go back and change the paper size and layer set to make a separate PDF print file. The other option would be to have a second template page but you would still need to change the paper size I think to print. Unless your printer has a way to crop. It might be worth asking. Hope I understood the question correctly because your example looks a bit large for 8.5 x 11 .

Thanks guys. I had almost forgotten about your contribution Michael, as I have not had a fancy project to try out the technique myself yet. Keep up the good work.

Yusuf is the master of that trick, take a look here :

Yes that is correct and even if you could then you would not be able to draw anything without buying another hard drive.
