make your sub fascia the size of your facia or if you want it recessed a little make it shorter
-
you don't show where you are which means a lot of what your state, county, of town might require

Maureen I had some training by Steve Blake also, when Chief had where others could sell I use to buy off of Steve he had his wife were great to deal with, haven't heard that name in a long long time, thanks for taking me back in time

What have been the best setting for doing a walk thru and can a default be setup, I have played around with it a little but would like to use it more

Also if you are manually building your roofs the porch roof could be blocking part of the wall you might have to select it and drag it back some
-

Michael are you talking about the lines on the first floor that show the dormers if so in you active layer display uncheck roofs, openings
-
what version are you using
-
did you check and see if your roofs were locked
-
Michael you have the roof planes locked or if you used auto dormers you might have to explode them, the fastest way to get an answer is to post your plan all answers are just going to be guesses by everyone so that is my guess

Mick I did mine from scratch since the Andersen lib doesn't give you any of the window numbers, like tw3046 which I put on all my plans along with weather they are egress or have to be tempered and the Andersen lib doesn't do that for you, unfortunately the Pella lib does a better job of doing these things but not to many of my contractors use Pells
-
I haven't found Andersen window lib very useful as far as having what you need I use them a lot and have made my own Andersen 200 and 400 lib to use

Sometimes you have to take your attic wall and drag it to move it over
-
are you looking for something like this, I am in Pa also and the builders I work for use these for long spans http://bluelinxco.com/files/StructuralFramingProducts/EngineeredLumber/onCENTER AFL Floor and Roof Product Guide_sm (1).pdf

Like Chopsaw said it all depends on your local codes if you have any where you are located
