  1. if you can't select the area you want to raise and name it then there is no room definition, do as Michael says and post the plan and we can help you seeing your plan
  2. the ability to do this has been requested by many for the deck beams to be able to designate a distance out on the deck. So as Scott says NOPE
  3. do you have room definition walls around the area you want to raise the ceiling in if not you will be doing it for the whole plan, once you put the room defintion walls in name the room
  4. I agree what the codes reads and should be done that way, is your area under the codes and what version, where I am we are still drawing under the 2009 IRC codes
  5. what is the height of the middle wall this could help and as michael said lock the pitch and move the roof up to where you want it. this is an easy fix, if you want post the plan and someone would help you so you could see what they did

  7. I did a bunch or revisions on a 48" base cabinet this afternoon and had no issues
  8. not sure if this is it but in your dbx box you have batt insulation and insulation checked but the fill is white and the thickness in 0

I had trouble with my designjet and got a program call Winline and it is made with drivers so that I could print with it, not sure if the have the drivers so as to print using win10, this is there website if you want to check them out http://www.winline.com/eval.html, have upgraded my 500 since and don't have it anymore to try it
  10. You might be able to take a cross section camera view of the wall select it in elevation and drag one of the sides down

Dale can't you save the plan you have know and name it whatever you called it and add existing to the file to save it under that name the open the first file and name it proposed and then make the changes to the propoes plan and you don't loose any thing or you can do as suggested using the layer tool
  13. Dennis this is just a guess since I do this with the exterior polyline do you have to break the line where you don't want the molding and select where you don't want it and select no molding in that area.

My client would like me to show the garage doors in the picture the left one is correct with hoizontal 4 panels, the larger one on the right is incorrect instead of 4 panels they would like it to show as 8 panels, I know we can change the number of verical panels can we change the number of horizonal panels is there any way to do this or is there something in one of the lib. to be able to show the one on the right in 8 panels. Thank you
  16. What if you made the existing post 1/4" or less and then put your own post in

Draw your steps on the floor you want them on and in the direction you want them to go, then select the room that goes to the basement and select open below and all should be there, one thing you might have to do is make your stairs no fill so you see the stairs below, or do your basement stairs and use the auto stair well tool after you draw the stairs
