  1. Speaking of archives does anyone every clean out there archives, when I do plans I save to different dates or numbers or final plans, is it a good idea to delete the ones that are archived but not being used to get more space
  2. Do as Michael says and it goes fast make a new material and put it in the direction you want or need it in
  3. If I were to do that I would copy them and then paste them in an X8 folder so that I would always have what was done already in X7 to be able to go back and refer to if needed, just in case something didn't workout when the file was moved over into X8

  5. Any time I up grade I always copy from the previous version and paste in the new version this way you always have the original copy in that version since you made a copy to the newer version

I find making my own windows with the proper r.o. to what they are, adding the manufacture callout in labels and then they under the components putting in the manuf the best way then I add it to my lib. under that manuf. for future use, there I can have dh, casement, awning, doors under seperate folders for future use, I wish the components was in where the defaults were so that once you setup your defaults whatever window you changed always had the manuf attached with it

  8. Ladycoralie even though we are having a mild winter not to many ski slopes open even I could use that beach time

What I did was simple I did it with manual roof tool, I selected where I wanted the roof to start then drew a roof to the center of the window did a reflex about that roof plane and then broke the roof in 3 places drag it up and then connected the roofs to form the valleys. Some of the guys can do video's on how this is done but I don't know how to do the video. No problem glad I was able to help since a lot of members on here have helped me.

  14. Joe that is a good suggestion for this but we should be able to select the grains and the direction of the grains for each item, thread, riser and the stringers for each set of stairs we produce not all want carpeting or maybe just want a runner for carpet
  15. When auto place outlets it will put them on short walls sometime ones that are too short
