  1. I've done ray tracing for years but since X13, just PBR RT.
  2. I have an RTX3060, works great.
  3. Yes - Chief Bonus Catalogs / 3D Plants-Vases & Pots 2 / String of Pearls-Large
  4. Ditto to what both David and Rene said. Importing your project to render in other software just adds one more layer of complexity which hardly seems worth it given the level of quality available from X13. Here's a kitchen I modeled and rendered n X13:
  5. Very simple to do with the 'Reflect About' function https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00284/using-the-reflect-about-object-tool.html
  6. I can only comment on what I see when I open the plan in the reader (you can download a free AutoCAD Viewer here https://www.autodesk.com/products/dwg-trueview/overview ) so I would guess that's the case unless AutoCAD will allow different layer sets. Perhaps someone with AutoCAD can chime in here. Be sure to read the info that comes up when you click on the 'Help' tab in the DBX.
  7. Nily: To export all floors, go to File/Export/Export All Floors (DWG,DXF). There are several more steps which are pretty self explanatory (take advantage of the 'Help' button on the DBX). Once you've gone through the process, everything will be on one floor and you'll just have to switch off the layers you don't want to see. Check out this article from the Knowledge Base https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00013/converting-plan-files-to-dwg-or-dxf.html Hope this helps - Eric
  8. Substance Player is a great tool, it's bailed me out several times already.
  9. I'd be happy to review your plans.
  10. Here's a simple offset tile pattern I created with Substance Player:
  11. This is a perfect application for Substance Player. If you don't want to go through the download and learning process (it's pretty simple), do a search for an offset tile image in your favorite search engine.
  12. Is this what you're looking for? https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/d4aea22c-49c5-4b01-8a6b-01ff2680cc4e/Plantation-Shutter
  13. Are you adding the shutters through the 'Treatments' tab in the window DBX?
  14. Save the snipped image to a folder of you choice (I use 'Pictures') on your hard drive then import it to your user library as a new material or background. https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00007/importing-and-applying-a-custom-picture-to-a-frame-computer-or-tv-screen.html
  15. Check to make sure you have the height to top/bottom set correctly.
  16. This looks like something I can help you with. Give me a call so we can review further. - Eric
  17. Go into the DBX for your camera. In the 'General' tab, you can specify different rendering techniques to show and also if you want to 'Show Color'.
  18. Yes, check out this article from the Knowledge base- https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00516/sharing-a-plan-file-with-a-home-designer-user.html
  19. Open the DBX for the cabinet and go to the 'Door/Drawer' tab, from there you can make the adjustment to the 'Door handle'.
