    I set them using anno-sets.

    Never really had a problem with that, it must be some setting though, or bringing a plan forward.

    TRY THIS, In the render tab of preferences set your hardware edge smoothing to High.

    Then I guess make a pony wall with the lower a partition wall and the upper not.

    .try to check those railing walls as "Partition walls" in the wall DBX. New tool. . They will not go through

    All I know is I have many of Joe's macro's from a few versions back and they still work fine for me.

    That used to work for me but I don't have X8 on my computer anymore.

    I have set up a layout system of already sent my sections, elevations etc. and all views to my layout ,thus never having to mess with them other than adjusting their location and window size for different plans. The anno-sets are always the same as I sent them.

    I like it now, at first I didn't but got used to it very fast, everyone will get used to it too, just give it a little time. That feature is much better now.

    Well I guess I should have said here in California, we don't need I for mono slabs. I think he said no basement.

    You have to use strip and put an angle on it, then save it to the lib. for future use.

    I never use that exterior slab edge insulation, you can get the energy calcs to work without it using the computer method. Builders also don't like doing it.

    I thought we were talking masonry fireplaces, we have a ton of them around here.

    p-solids, I have p-solids stored with my fireplaces in my template plan so I can create them faster
