I not only use a template plan for ceiling heights on several floors but also many other things within Chief like line weights on many different layersets and reference sets. It saves me at least 1 hour per plan I do.

Some times the schedules won't fit horiz. on the page, so I just rotate it, works for me. I know I could put them on another page but I would hate to flip pages just to fine out what size window I have. I could also just not have callouts and just use the size but I add a lot of info to the label and until Chief has multi line labels, that's the way it has to be for now. haven't had any complaints yet.

I have the Disto with the built in camera so no matter how much sun , you can zoom in to get an exact measurement. I can also use the camera for outside corners, just stand away from the corner take that measurement to the closest corner, zoom in to the other corner and take a measurement, it will do the calculation to get an exact measurement. At least close enough for me.

You know, I think the cable and phone co's try to keep everyone at a low rate unless you know better and complain. Look what happened to Netflix, they lowered their streaming rate and everyone went nuts, so now Netflix has to pay a higher amount for better streaming or downloading. Too many people at high mbps rates will clog the system so if your a tech wennie , you will be put at the lowest speed unless you pay for faster.

Agree w/ Scott, there are just too many things that we do look at when doing an as-built. like looking in the Attic for structural layout of the existing.

Is that 5.3 mbps, if it is I'm getting 25 mbps on dsl. upload speed is always much slower.

wow. cable is suppose to be 10 times faster than, what I have "DSL". I have no trouble with buffering and the video showed great for me. You might have something else going on, maybe Mac attack
