  1. Not sure if possible but ,if Tech Support could scan the forum for questions they could answer, that might help.
  2. You might be changing the wrong DBX. Change it in the framing and floor defaults, even in the room DBX. lots of places to look. you can also just select the floor framing and change it. If you have auto framing on and you don't change the default, it will change back.
  3. Nice, but try a Battered wall on the front or back walls with windows and doors. It's a PIA
  4. You have to create your own 2d block and associate it to the symbol.
  5. Watch my video same system, same plan, side by side, quite a bit of slowness vs. X6. X6 ended up being nice, as I suppose X7 will, by the time it's out of beta.
  6. I also sent mine in and he didn't see any slowdown. I did a video a while back showing the difference.
  7. Did you try the transform/ replicate tool and move it in the "+y" axis. It works for me
  8. Yes, my slowdown is always even when starting a new plan.
  9. I also believe it slower than X6 when using cameras and saving.
  10. Try to make your siding thicker like 1" just in case you have z-fighting
  11. Well, if you can post the plan, we could find out what's wrong. I never have any problems with that, so I suspect user error somewhere.
  12. Is auto rebuild checked in the roof DBX?
  13. Does your texture have a pattern assigned to it? if not you will have to add one. Some siding don't have any patterns. Patterns show in vector views
  14. try to re-frame the roof planes, looks like leftover fascia and ridge. Turn on auto roof framing. Not sure if 9.5 had auto roof framing though.
  15. You can change your drawing sheet size from the File/print/drawing sheet setup
  16. Larry, I just opened it and it looked good to me--no lines
  17. You can also get the framing from the eave roof plane and copy it to the main roof plane, then you don't need two roof planes. But I would do that last just in case there are changes.
  18. Its always a good idea to back up the lib. also.
  19. I was just saying that might be why you had so much trouble.
  20. I put the icon file in the chief architect file and get it from there, from the change icon button. I also had to re-pin to the taskbar from the icon on the desktop
