  3. Admittedly a lot of these have been produced in years past and I am just cleaning them up and readying for share. Do you have a picture example of your shelving?
  4. This is clever..in the new room features do we have the ability to re-label our floors- suppose we could in a room schedule so that items designated for the second floor dont get put on a 3rd floor to accomplish this trick
  5. I know we went over this in a post a long while back..I just feel as if it should be possible in the room/foundation dbx instead of doing workarounds. pic is fuzzy, sorry
  6. Its a 40" 4k LED TV by samsung- I use it with a sit stand desk and an inexpensive and versatile tv mount that raises/lowers/tilts by hand. I've re-setup my toolbars since this post as I discovered functionality in CA is greater with 2 stand-alone instances of CA vs tiled windows
  7. you can also convert the line and then convert back to straight poly line to get the same function. You can also apply arrows. adding a macro with a dimension designation is great for say-site setbacks
  8. yes, cept for that this particular foundation will also have footers and shouldn't be a solution...not to mention increasing them does not show in the dbx. graphically, so how is a user supposed to determined that the method worked without pulling a 3d view...unless I am mistaken
  9. My biggest elevation dbx gripe...try and build a mono slab with no curbs and a 36" tall "stem wall"- most frustrating thing I've ever come across. I'll save you some pain- it won't be monolithic
  10. don't think it really matters, probably easier to navigate using the index for most people I imagine...maybe I should list things chronologically instead of by catagory
  11. Could not get the image to load- shouldn't be anything wrong with the model- chrome just would not preview the image no matter what I tried
  12. POST 23 HOPE EVERYONE IS ENJOYING THEIR WEEKEND HERE IS A NEW MODERN DOOR SYMBOL AND DOOR ASSEMBLY(INCLUDES JAMB CASING AND LOCKSET) Rendered in CA PBR ENJOY! DOWNLOAD: RABS MODERN DOOR1.calibz CLICK ME TO GO BACK TO THE INDEX!!!
  13. Thank you for the compliments, means a lot to me! Without having tried it before with iCloud specifically, I think what you’ll run into is conflicted copies of the user folder if one Mac is still writing to disc while the other is opened up to CA...it can be tough to avoid...hence the need for the two folders. when one folder conflicts with another in windows it saves both but renames the new folder which CA won’t recognize. If it goes unnoticed people tend to lose a symbol and when they need it most it’s buried in a renamed user folder or even overwritten and lost to the abyss. thats the main reason for that vid. I have limited experience with CA in Mac as we donated our MacBook this year

  15. probably meant default CA layers like "Cabinets, Countertops" vs user created. ..and yes you are correct about system layers
  16. 3 Bay Area guys were riding in a car; a hardware technician, a systems analyst and a programmer. The systems analyst is driving and when they come to a steep hill he finds that the brakes have failed and the car is accelerating out of control. So, he pumps the emergency brake, downshifts the gears, and rubs the wheels against the curb. He finally wrestles the car to a stop. The three climb out and assess the situation. Hardware tech: "Let's try and fix it. I'll crawl under the car and take a look." Systems analyst: "No. I think we should get someone qualified to fix it, a specialist in brakes." Programmer: "Why don't we just get back in and see if it happens again?
  17. base cabinets have a molding dbx...you can set it up in your cabinet defaults
  18. I typically try and build my own 3d models if they seem simple enough so that I own the creation completely, though in a pinch 3d warehouse can be a very quick way of getting an item. I will say I find a ton of items at 3dwarehouse that have artifacts or explode in a difficult fashion or the material IDs are missing or wrong...pain in the butt. Any particular light you were looking for? BTW this track light is in a large group of lighting symbols upload for my symbols and content page. You can find it in my signature

  21. May get to this next week as I have a packed schedule day and night until tuesday...looks good. What is the second texture supposed to be applied to, need some context. will it be applied to something massive so it needs to be tiled, or will it be applied to something small so it can be stretched? Appreciate it Zowie, great compliment...thank you, love that!
