It only makes sense that chief develop future versions to incorporate Real time raytracing, which the quadro card will excel at. Stay tuned! My interest in the graphics tablet is in hopes that it replace my iPad with the added benefit of being able to run programs that my iPad cannot.
-
I have this one which is somewhat similar but only looks good for features up to 4' in width before the repeating pattern overwhelms the effect- RABS Flagstone.calibz Let me know if that works.

I don't think an image or link properly uploaded

Happy to help you Joe, anyway to get any example images for what you want?(or is that kind‘ve the point of the request? Haha)

I ordered the business model with the Quadro 3000 RTX card. Ships the 26 or later and will review in short order. No thunderbolt port, big shame. The big plus however, was the improved dedicated graphics card on the tablet portion, effectively making it a graphics tablet. The quadro card is future proof for my general use for the expected usefulness-cycle of a laptop, in my current workflow. Figure I will benefit for 4-6 years from the device. Am bummed that it doesn't have thunderbolt, but I have been improving my network setup to hopefully climb that hurdle of expiring hardware.

I'm guessing you're right, my draw order was backwards apparently. I always drop in windows before cabs.

Okay, jokes on me...how long have I been missing out on this? Windows auto size when placed where a backsplash is present..amazing Chief. Thank you

You see my response about the main layer only debacle ?
-
Elevations don't align, is that by intent?
-
For that layerset, designate the exterior and interior layers to follow line style of the layer. Turn the line style for walls to invisible for that layerset. Then override the middle layers to solid line. That way you can uncheck main layer only and still only see the main layers. Overlooking any fill styles.
-
Agh, MJ beat me to it...my joke's not as funny Unless their is a reason for having everything in the main layer for alignment on wall framing etc. I would reorganize the wall assembly as stated
-
I can already tell that your two pieces of bread are in the main layer with the tuna salad in the middle. Breads always gonna get soggy that way. Maybe you can separate them to the surface?

It comes into play when a lot of CAD is used in plan. Also comes into play with custom material files, especially when mirror materials are used in a room with a lot of high texture resolution materials.

I'm buried up to my ears in deadlines at the moment else I would gladly. Note types can carry any number of macros along with many custom fields that can report to/from macros and all the while having a note schedule with custom fields etc. Makes for a great system. I also use notes to order my details and callouts across elevations/plan view/etc.
-
I like to use notes for everything of this sort. Having the ability to have an ordered list is huge to me. Simple to setup and extremely robust.

Man, Thank you! I've only updated 1 set with a limited scope but nice to steal someone else's standards for larger jobs

I've got some openings starting the end of next week. I've been working remotely for years as a trainer, designer, drafter, and rendering artist. I've got plenty of references, please feel free to contact me through the website in my signature and take a look at my Youtube content. Thanks for any consideration

So highly!

I’m having performance issues with recording 4K battling PBR refresh rates when a material is changed. Video memory causes a problem in the recorder buffering. I can’t seem to figure out how to split my card allocation effectively. It’s proven to be challenging for a scene that I dumped a bunch of hours into. I do plan on doing that series though. I’ll make sure and ping you when I do.

@Rich_Winsor Another approach- Make a folder in your User Library named "Main" (for example). Relocated all of your existing User Library items into this main folder within your User Library. So now the only thing you see in your User Library is the "Main" folder with all of your old library items under that folder: Main/old items Close your Chief Architect With the program closed, make a backup of your User_Library.calib file and save it somewhere safe. Now, relocated the original User_Library.calib file to the location of your Manufacturer Libraries.(yes actually drag your original Library that you just created a Main within to the Manufacturer Library Folder) Fire up chief. Because you removed the User_Library folder it will now create a new User_Library.calib. When you look at your library you will see the "Main" folder that you created if you did steps 1-6 correctly. Install ALL calibz files that you have saved over time. Any files that are now populated in your User Library are now contained in the new User_Library.calib that was auto generated. Any files that you would ultimately like to save to your original User Library simply need to be dropped into the "Main" folder. When you are done dropping all items that you would like to save from your downloaded calibz files, close Chief Architect. Go to your new User_Library.calib file and delete it. This erases all of the items that you chose not to keep. Go back to your manufacturer library folder location, grab your User_Library.calib file and bring it back to the default location. If you did this correctly, you should see all of the new items you brough into your main folder and none of the items you did not want to keep. These steps only take a total of 5 minutes to complete.(except for sorting through items) Please don't be intimidated by the number of steps involved, they take a mere matter of seconds to perform.

Ah I misread your first post- Solver(Eric) posted a solution a while ago HERE We also discuss this in regards to recessed base molding, more of a modern detail, HERE Short answer is that we still need a workaround.
-
No workaround needed, this option is in your Door Specifications- Jamb/Has Jamb/Inset Question regarding the detail you are showing as an example. what are you end nailing your wallboard/RC channel/lathe etc. to if not the king/trimmer?
