  1. X-13 is the most complete feeling piece of software in my arsenal besides Thea, and that is despite the bugs. Also the rendering engine is getting really really good
  2. As chopsaw said. The "T" on your keyboard toggles it on and off by default.

  12. You simply made a copy at some point, the bak file still serves as a backup. Was the creation date postdated or the update date which is standard i nan explorer window under the date column. regardless, workflow should always be that you copy a toolbar instead of trying to modify an existing one. That way you have a copy and the original file intact.
  13. @HumbleChief and @ACADuser Chief automatically creates a backup file of your toolbars. Do not edit your existing toolbars, copy and edit the new. In the toolbars folder there are files with the extension named "bak" simply delete the modified toolbar you would like to revert, then delete the "bak " extension and your toolbar will be restored
  14. Unfortunately it’s not a bug. When modeling a tree It is an industry standard to use a single plane and apply an image with a clipping mask for all leaves. The line option simply takes the vector bounds of that plane. It’s not a programming issue then, it’s a modeling issue with that particular catalog, and still I wouldn’t consider it a bug. Easies way around it would be in SketchUp IMO. You would use the tool that would allow you to trace the leaf and cut away the excess(trim the hedges?);)
  15. OOF! they need a tool to auto-cut models to a clipping mask or auto vector to clipping so that the tress dont look so ridiculous!

  17. Helpful if you adjust your signature to indicate what software version you are on and your system specs. This is the Chief Architect Interiors and Premier forums, Hometalk is where you will find information on the Home Designer line of products. What you are showing is a imitation in that line of products.

  19. Are you open to freelance? I am taking on new work in 2022 and am a big power user(which often means that the workload cannot keep up with my efficiency). I've been working remotely for over a decade now and also train offices in this software, both in group settings and in pre-recorded production drafting videos. Contact me at renerabbitt@gmail.com
  20. I personally use only a single default set(current naming of annotation sets) I use macros I use text styles I do not use Rich Text The full explanation of this work flow would take some time to explain, and Steve will do a fine job diving into it.
  21. I should not be responding to this but only a few of our macro gurus respond to stuff nowadays. Assume that I may be completely wrong, I am not familiar with using the correct terminology I believe in X-13 they built in a custom classification for anything that would be considered a dimension. Which means to use an area macro you may have to convert it to a float. by using .to_f
