freshrooms
I am having trouble dividing the bar area in this plan. I want to put a tile floor there, as you can see, but where my invisible room divider meets the railing wall under the bar top is problematic. Why is the wall surface extending into space there and how can I fix that? Amie2-5-16 Lower Level.plan
Dennis_Gavin
Not sure of what the problem is.... Can you be more specific? Also - you can use a polyline solid for the floor at the bar instead of making it a separate room. Also need to raise wall under bar to meet counter but I assume you know that. TheKitchenAbode
If the invisible wall is just for the purpose of defining the floor material area then get rid of it and just use a material region or a polyline solid as Dennis suggests. lbuttery
if I remember correctly the room divider creates an "invisible wall" which has layers and thickness I think you can modify that room divider wall and copy it as a new wall type give it a layer thickness of 1/16 but the polyline solid sounds like the best solution for this situation Lew

freshrooms
Polyline solid to the rescue, perfect! Thanks!
TheKitchenAbode
There is also a specific floor tool for this. Build, Floor, Floor Material Region. Graham
DMDesigns
Yes, how did you do that? I simply took your invisible wall and moved it to accommodate a better wall to invisible wall look, see the second image I provided, showing how I moved your Invisible wall. No need to mess around with poly-lines on this one.
Alaskan_Son
In addition to the advice above, you can also just use the simple zero thickness room divider...
DRAWZILLA
If you don't want to see it just put it on a layer like, walls no show, and turn it off
