Dennis_Gavin
I have never used the plus or minus designation for dimensions but want to but I am checking it and nothing is happening. I have a dimension, clicked on it, opened the dbx, unchecked default and selected + or - but no change. What am I doing wrong? I will PTP if necessary. I concur, I can't believe this has not come up before. I cannot get the plus minus sign either.
glennw
Maybe because the dimension is correct and isn't rounding?
dshall
Maybe because the dimension is correct and isn't rounding? Yep, that is the reason.
Joe_Carrick
IOW, it depends on what you have set as the smallest fraction. if you have dims set to display a 1/16" fraction then the +/- will only be displayed if the actual dimension is not exactly a multiple of 1/16"
chief58
We can get it as a macro other then that I put my own +/- in the under additional text, trailing text in the dimension spec box
