4hotshoez
I have a set of 3 doors. the 2 flanking doors are fixed, but I used a swing door on either side. How can I have the same look of a door panel but no swing on two and yes swing on the middle?
DRAWZILLA
Yes that has been a problem, You could turn off "opening indicters" and draw your own, or create the sidelites out of a fixed window that looks like the door.
DavidJPotter
You can globally turn them off (Display Options - Opening Indicators) or you can manually draw them where and as you require them, currently there is no "half-way" measure to do this by settings alone. kMoquin
When I'm faced with this scenario I find just deleting the offending lines in layout is the easiest solution.
Larry_Sweeney
You can edit the lines in layout, but it should be one of the last things you do. Everytime the elevation is open in layout all the edited lines will return.
Gawdzira
What is the door configuration? Is it one pair and one single on the left? At least for the pair you can make one door not swing in the DBX. I have not done this but if the other fixed door was a symbol could it be set up so it does not have swing indicators?
4hotshoez
When I'm faced with this scenario I find just deleting the offending lines in layout is the easiest solution. I was not aware that I could edit lines in Layout. How do I access the lines? I click the elevation and I get a gray box. Double click takes me to the Elevation in the model. 4hotshoez
That is so cool! I some how missed that feature and probably several others. Too bad I can't just post a question like, "Tell me what I don't know yet."
DRAWZILLA
Edit it last. like Larry said, they will come back and haunt you if you ever need to open the view again. For that reason alone, I try to find a way to keep it live always. NO LAYOUT EDITING.
