msmith964
I am looking to see if anyone out there uses an AI software to edit their renderings. I connected with a company that offers this service but they won't tell me what they use. I am attaching my original rendering (admittedly pretty lame) and their version. Now their version is beautiful but it changed some of the elements of the kitchen so it is no longer accurate. I have looked at Google Whisk, which is really cool but it again alters the image too drastically to be accurate. So, asking if anyone knows of a software that can take your rendering and just make it more realistic without altering the components. Anyone know what could have created this image. All they were sent was a .jpg of my render. Thanks! Michelle Pro

ChatGPT will create an enhanced rendering like the one you show. And it will also be inaccurate, like the one you show.
DBCooper
There was a bunch of discussion about using AI generated renders in this post a while back: https://chieftalk.chiefarchitect.com/topic/45722-i-think-im-done-rendering-in-chief/ It seems like some people are using it to get some pretty pictures and don't care that it changes things but most others don't want that. There are some people that have figured out how to use masks to prevent AI from changing the model although I haven't tried this yet. Personally, I think you might be better off learning how to get better results directly in Chief. Staging the model by adding in some more realistic details and spending some time figuring out how to get more out of materials and lighting can go a long way to making better images. There are a bunch of training videos and I would recommend starting there.
Hoff_Design
I agree with DBCooper... Chief's X17 rendering is looking good. Gaining an understanding of using good textures combined with understanding the lighting will rival the competition. I am experimenting with the lighting and textures right now in X17 and will continue to do so. The backdrop (hdri lighting), the sun, and the lights all play a part in getting the right feel. Good textures will go a long ways. You can also import 3D objects as you need them, or create them in Chief. Gaining an understanding of the physically based camera and how to render with it will also go a long ways.
Renerabbitt
If you know some basic photoshop, then masking out things it changes is a simple process Original: Ai and what it changed and what I will mask out : And then the final result after a filter to detune the harsh shadows and highlights and contrast of AI: I could do better, there are a few more things I couldv'e fixed, but this literally took me 10 minutes

Hoff_Design
I decided to give X17 a go with realistic rendering my kitchen. X17 can do a great job for making realist ray trace renders... here are the results.

Do you mind sharing which AI software you used before bringing it into Photoshop?
