Monterey21
Hi. My name is Polina. I am 16 and my native town is Moscow. So, as you know, I'm going to be an architect as my father. He is non-standard architect. He decided to be an architect at 45. And only this program let his dream came to life. If you want I'll show some of his projects. Gawdzira
Hello Polina, Architecture is a great endeavor. Congratulations on choosing it for your path. There are many resources to learn from. It is great that you have your father as your first teacher. One of my favorite books that I was shown as I started my education is this: http://www.amazon.com/Architecture-Francis-D-K-Ching/dp/0442215355/ref=asap_bc?ie=UTF8 The author has a lot of great titles beyond this book but this is a great place to start. dshall
My Building Construction Illustrated is 1st edition. I also have an Architectural Graphic Standards that is 5th edition but that was a hand me down. Joe probably has an AGS first edition, printed sometime in the thirteenth century. Love you Joe, see you on St. mark's GC next Thursday. I just may beat him next time.
Joe_Carrick
Joe probably has an AGS first edition, printed sometime in the thirteenth century. I have the same version of AGS as Alan. I also have a "Time Saver Standards" 4th Edition from 1966. Mine are not "hand me downs"

Monterey21
Thank you The first post was written by my daughter. But she chose a different road. And I continue to do what I love. I hold the theme of the chief architect in a very crowded forum. I tell you how I solved interesting problems with the help of the Chief Architect. https://www.forumhouse.ru/threads/205205/ “How to put the walls on the old curved foundation? I dream of a castle. ”
Monterey21
"Chief Architect" is an excellent assistant in difficult situations. Unfortunately, it is not adapted for Russia. Does not even support text. You have to switch to other programs.
