Chopsaw Posted June 29, 2023 Share Posted June 29, 2023 I am assuming it is the horizontally trimmed rafter tails you are having issues with ? If so you will need to apply a Rafter Tail Molding to your rafters and Gable Sub Fascia. That's a new one on me! It must be regional thing. It must be a tad difficult to do "plumb horizontal" with a plumb bob. I guess you get the apprentice to go down to wallmart and ask for a horizontal plumb bob. But we are stuck with that pesky line on the underside of the rafters which is the invisible horizontal soffit meeting the invisible raking soffit. I can't get to a "point" but if I use a 1" facia and change a little framing in the "structural" tab...I can get it close enough.
