dshall
.... so I have this returning client..... good size remodel from the past..... did plans in 2009..... YEAH, 6 YEARS AGO!!!!........ they want to fill in some vaulted space at second floor..... I open plans from the past......... WHERE IS MY ANNO SETS????? WOW, talking about going back to the archaic times...... geeezzzz..... thankfully this should be a down and dirty job...... wow, have things changed (for the better) in the last 6 years. BTW, 2009, what version would that be? v.11 pr X2? Yikes, this might be painful.
DRAWZILLA
You can copy the plan to a new template. There will be repair though.

chief58
Scott I just export and then import my annotation sets to make it easier, also do that with wall layers and layer sets

chief58
maybe that would be a good suggestion that our annotation, layer and wall sets come forward with each new version

Gawdzira
Every once in a while I have to open an older version plan. I look at the layer naming and think the same thing. When I don't see any Anno sets I think someone broke into my car and stole them while I was buying milk.

Joe I have done to my template plan for X7, it would be nice if they would come forward with any old plans brought forward, just and idea, but steps are more important then exporting and importing annotation and other sets
