trouble in X15 selecting objects?

Curious if anyone else has seen this behaviour:

I find that if I leave CA X15 open for a while on my desktop, I am unable to select items using the mouse.

All items are affected, cabinets, dimensions strings, walls, etc. I CAN select them using the marquee method.
This is remedied by closing the program and re-opening the plan. It then works for a while, but the issue occurs again if I leave my PC for a brief period and return to an open plan.

I have logged a case with support and waiting on a reply

Not sure what you mean by " a while"  but there has always been an unwritten Rule to Restart Chief during the Day eg when going to lunch, to help stop "weirdness"   ( a memory leak I think ) but not sure if that is what you are experiencing or not? I have not seen this myself but am still doing a lot of work in X14.

Support had me update the Nvidia Studio driver but that has NOT resolved the issue (I had been still running the November version as there were significant issues with them after that one).

Hi Not sure if I am having the same issue.  I am happily using a Mac book pro on X15 and lately the cursor is selecting stuff WAAAYYY too far away.  It will usually prioritize dimensions over objects so I have to zoom way in to try to get the object selected vs whatever else it is trying to grab.  Its like the field of the cursor is way to wide and not referencing the closest object tot the point of the cursor.  Am I over looking a setting?

Is this a problem with one particular plan or with all plans?  If it's just one plan, it could be something strange going on in the plan and you could always post it to see if someone else can see the problem.  If it's all plans, then I don't have any ideas other than calling tech support.

Have a look in Preferences>Edit>Snap Properties>Snap Distance

What is the distance set to?

I'm also experiencing ,mouse/selection issues... you can't just click on an item to select it, you have to click and hold for a second or two for the item to be selected.

Immediately after upgrading to x15 the mouse was freezing for periods of up to 15sec, but after several reboots only seems to have the selection delay now.
