ACADuser
How do you deal with these unwanted lines in vector view?
Chopsaw
It appears as though you are properly aligned so it must be a material issue. If the materials are actually supposed to be different then technically you should have a division line right ?
ACADuser
Thanks for looking at this. The wall inside is drywall from the core catalog & both are 5/8.
PhillipsPlans22
Are the walls interior surfaces in line? If its off a little it will show a line
VisualDandD
In my experience chief generates all kinds of those in vector view. (they dont appear in the standard render) I deal with them in 2 ways. 1- for most exterior elevations, I send to layout as plot lines and then delete the small unwanted lines. 2-for most interior sections, I 'create cad detail from view' and do the same....delete unwanted lines. DRAWZILLA
Sometimes those types of line disappear when you actually print it.
ACADuser
No luck this time Perry. I usually drop a plume mask over them rather than edit them away as any refresh & I forget to do it again.
joey_martin
Just delete them in layout.
ACADuser
I do, over & over & over again as I update all layout boxes. Until the final print, Oh Sh*t I forgot the last time.

This doesn't necessarily mean that they're using the same material. You can have 2 materials with the same name.
ACADuser
When I click on each one they open in the core catalog at the same place. I suppose I could select each time to be sure they are the same?

Solution ACADuser Posted February 4, 2023 Author Solution Share Posted February 4, 2023 If you flip the 4" wall with the "Reverse Layer" tool so both primary sides are on the same side the line goes away.
