.pdf Freeware That Keeps Everything "to Scale" Windows 7
kMoquin replied to Mintplanner's topic in General Q & A
I use bull zip pdf. PDF Split and Merge is freeware that allows you to break apart And reassemble files. I've found issues with scale are nearly always user error most often involving the "fit to page" option- 15 replies

Usually lot coverage here. Some municipalities it is just the building, but most include building, decks, driveway, patio, etc..

Try using the "Wall Elevation" camera instead of the cross section
-
look for this tool
-
Select the light, ope it's dialog box, and uncheck "Show Position in Camera View" on the Light Data tab

When I'm faced with this scenario I find just deleting the offending lines in layout is the easiest solution.

Just like the flooring is removed automatically in an "Attic" room

I'm guessing there are fewer video card options with a package system like the iMac

Most Efficient Way To Get To A Cut List For Sheet Goods For Cabinets
kMoquin replied to adventhomes's topic in General Q & A
Cabinetvision or 20/20 does this. -
I've never seen this behavior (used Chief since V9). I'd guess it's not Chief.

I had the opposite reaction. I think X7 looks less cartoony than previous versions.

Funny, I think the icons look less cartoonish in X7 than previous versions

Design Needed For Veterans Museum In Nh

Alan, Come east and take a crack at it. I'll buy you a lobster roll. (You might want to bring an extra shirt.) -
Bob, You relink them through the "Referenced Plan Files" dialog box that pops up when you open the layout or accessed via the menu Tools > layout > Referenced Plan Files All that computer greek is essentially an address. What you are experiencing is akin to mailing a letter to your neighbor and asking why it has not arrived at your office.
-
Unless your file path is exactly the same at work and home you will have to relink them to the layout when opening on a different computer. For example this my file path at work: C:\Users\kmoquin\Dropbox\KMA\Projects\Standard Details but at home it looks like this: C:\Users\K\Dropbox\KMA\Projects\Standard Details One small difference, but an entirely different address as far as the computer is concerned.

Design Needed For Veterans Museum In Nh

For those who's curiosity is peaked (Mine was, though I have a company policy against trading my services for the promise of fame and exposure.) here's a website for the venture: http://www.veteransmuseumofnh.com/index.htm Though the internets don't speak kindly of it's founder: http://doj.nh.gov/media-center/press-releases/2011/20110223-veterans-museum.htm http://www.unionleader.com/article/20140326/NEWS03/140329394 One may want to proceed with caution. -
Irfanview (freeware) has a batch convert function http://www.irfanview.com/

I've watched just about every video in the sidebar while waiting....

Post the plan.

Worst case might be you start your second set in the second files layout page 9.

Why have I just discovered the pitch label in section? Thanks DSH! (It shows in the convention I use. It is exactly what I was typing. I abandoned the two lines some time ago.)

The 3D framing is absolutely useful to me - especially for the repetitive elements. It helps highlight potential conflicts. I don't expect the framers to locate each joist or rafter where I've drawn it.
