  1. There is talk about using the "SLAB" footing tool to build footings in a crawl space by turning the wall Invisible. This method works but the footing will not show up in the material list. This is one example of building your model 100% will not translate into a 100% material list. For crawl spaces use the post/footing tool instead, it will show in the material list. The extra line showing when two footings are touching,just use a cad patch to hide until CA. fixes the connection.
  2. We do need a lot more control over the footings, workarounds take too much of our time.
  3. You can select the footings and change the width either the interior or exterior just select and move the dot. If you cut the wall in two places you can change the footing direction.
  4. In an elevation view or overview click until you get the wall then hit the number 3 key to break and reshape.
  5. My toolbar was also missing "Camera view options, just add it.

  7. My SSA is due in June. I get an email and a postcard from CA reminding me 30 days before it is due.
  8. Control you garage floor from the Room DBX. My Living area floor is at 0",ceiling at 100". Garage ceiling is set to 100" ,floor at -18" and stem wall at 6" above garage floor. My living area floor system is 12 5/8". This is what you get with those spec's.
  9. Joe, Being part of CA's doors is what I am asking for. The bifold door is almost there just add the option for all doors on one side and the option to adjust sizes and quantity.

  11. David, DMDz Nana door imports as a "ALB" file format not a "Calibz"
  12. Nana doors are here. Look in the Manufacturer cat. (down load first) Ca. make these a door symbol and allow them to be shown open.
  13. Open the wall, go to the structure tab and change the double wall to "frame through".
  14. Enter " Breckenridge" into the search bar in the "Training Video" section and see a project using X8. About 4 hours, enjoy.
  15. IRC you are correct and having been doing it correctly but each city can make the code more restrictive.Check with that city and ask to see a copy of their code for that item.
