    As Glenn said cut the wall on the right then add a polyline soild as a cap on the short wall.

    Connect the switch to the outlet first then move the connection wire to the opener box.

    Something like the attached?. Make an "Open Below" room.

    Click on the "Spray can Icon" then check the "Use default" box, then click on the top and bottom walls and see if this changes your walls back to the default wall types.
